Hey guys, if you haven't heard, The Aether 2 came out. It is a sequel to the Aether. Today I'm going to show you the 2 new things that are in Genisis of the Void that aren't in the Aether I.
First of all, Genisis of the Void is in Alpha so that means more things are to come.
Parties-
In the Aether server, you can form parties. This consists of up to 10 players and can be named by the owner of the party. Before Aether II, other ways to make parties were plugins. The parties show how much health your friends have, their armour strength, and their amount of Coins. Note- The party system only works for Multiplayer. Clicking your social box in Singleplayer will bring up a forever alone face.

Please note that Aether II is intended for multiplayer- some features can only be accessed through parties.

Dungeons-
There are very dangerous unnamed mobs in dungeons. I suggest you don't go in them unless you have all zanite. (Warning- bring a pickaxe). Each dungeon has a locked door out the outside. To unlock this door, you and each of your party members must right click the door to enter. You cannot break dungeon blocks. Once dungeon blocks are broken (the only way to break them in creative) they will regenerate, making it impossible to enter the dungeon, even on creative. Only one party can be in a dungeon at one time. A dungeon has 3 modes-
Available- The dungeon can be entered by a party and no parties are inside.
Occupied- The dungeon is occupied by another party and cannot be entered.
Conquered- The dungeon becomes conquered after a party has defeated the dungeon of the players have left the dungeon 3 times. This prevents players from getting the loot over and over. After a while, dungeons will become available again and the loot will be regenerated as will the bosses and mini-bosses.
Bosses- Bosses of a dungeon, when defeated, you have exhausted the dungeon.
Mini Bosses- Little bosses in random rooms that try to kill you and reaching the main Boss.

Well thats it remember that Genesis of the Void is intended for multiplayer, by this is the alpha version and the Aether Team might add a singleplayer update soon.
