So all I wanted was a simple faction economy server where everyone was nice and friendly and the whole entire server felt so nice, warm, and cozy. Things were though, my friend had a server that had 50-70 people on each day and was very successful. I was staff then demoted because the lack of help that I had given. Why? because I hated to help people that just cursed at one another and disrespected the staff and everyone on the server. That is why I made my own.

I had gotten a server that only held 18 people, was really small in size. My closest friend had also helped me built the spawn. Things were looking good, and it was time to install some plug-ings. Since the theme was a faction economy server, I needed the faction plugin, and a good economy plugin. Put those aside, I got the necessary plugins that made a server excellent. Everything was complete. Spawn was made and all of the permissions have been set up, and all I needed to do was to get some people.

I first advertised on some YouTube videos, even though that was a really bad idea, I took the risk. About 3 people came, me and my friend was so excited and we welcomed them happily. The first player looked like a hacker and a griefer, he just stood there and gazed at us. He left after being on the server for 45 seconds. The second guy asked if this server was new. And we said, "Yes" he then asked if we had posted this server on PMC, we said no because I thought it wasn't a good way to get new players. He then asked if he could advertise, me and my friend said yes and thanks to him. For a couple minutes, people started rushing in and started to ask questions. Such as how is this server been up, do you need staff and all of those kind of nonsense. And later did I realize, posting on PMC really works!

The server was doing okay, but not much people had been on, only just me, my friend and some other two guys that were on the server. They did say it was fun but it really didn't fell like it for us. Each day, people came and kept saying if you guys need staff, if we said "No" they left immediately. But what could we do? People said that it needs time and that it will grow fast in the future. But ain't nobody got time for that! We needed players FAST. Advertised on videos, other server lists, and a lot more. The server had a maximum of 17 people once! I was amazed! So happy that this is what it feels like to have more than 10 people! Then after 2 days. The population decreased by a lot! people just come and go right away and not even saying "hi" to the staff or other players if they were ever on. The server got donations but not enough to keep the server running for a while.
