So today I was moderating the server I play on, BrickNation. A new person came on, and they were entirely new to Minecraft and Bukkit. They had no skin (Which is a bad thing on a server) and barely any idea of the controls.Here I am to give a step-by-step guide on how to play on a Bukkit server.

1. Always have a Skin. No Steve's!! If you are to be recognized on a Server, a Steve head isn't enough. I recommend getting a good skin to keep yourself unique.

2. Read the rules. You will get yourself banned in 5 minutes if you don't follow the rules. That's a bad impression on your first time.

3. Take tips. Only take the tips that make sense, like 'Avoid Creepers'. Not like 'Swear and spam!!!'

4. Check the plugins. Ask, research, whatever!! Getting familiar with the plugins can be to your advantage. The new person did not even know /tpa!!!! Get familiar with these things!

5. Be kind and have fun!!! Making a good impression of yourself is essential. With just a bit of luck, and responsibility and respect, you'll get to where I am today- Moderator in training. Having fun while playing is essential to make your goals!!
