It actually turned out better than I thought it would too :D
Oh and I'm going away for a week or so (starting tomorrow) but I did do some textures for that Mod you wanted here! If you need more, or if you need different ones, message me and I'll do it when I'm home :D
I had originally planned to use real fish, but these ideas are way better :D
You also sorted everything perfectly! Best, texturer, ever XD
The mod has come pretty far as I have made new rods, new fish and craftable + smeltable items. The lava rod is difficult to make because it glitches up often. I will recommend not to use it in artificial lava pools because one needs a deep one for it to work. Otherwise it will get stuck in the ground or the walls because lava doesn't give as much buoyancy as water. I might be able to tweak the code a bit though.
There's only a few more textures I need, an iron stick for the iron rod and some cooked fish textures.

I can make some real fish if you want, I'm just not sure on how the model would look, or the shape it'd be :D

I'll get right on the cooked fish textures and iron stick and I'll upload whatever I do later on tonight! I've had another idea about the red and gold fish also, maybe instead of getting a cooked red/gold fish you could get redstone and a gold ingot? It's up to you! :) I'll do cooked textures for them anyway! :)
