My Minedea doesn't just add in more types of armour to Minecraft, but gives armour special 'powers', a bit like Enchantments, but without the loss of Experience. This will also add more uses to some quite useless blocks and items.

All crafting recipes are the normal layout, but the block/item mentioned. The player could Enchant these new types of armour, but that might waste Experience.

In order for some of these new types of armour to have an effect, some mob behaviour has been changed. Now, hostile mobs can spawn wearing these new types of amour, and also with any type of tool (Sword, Axe, Pickaxe Flint and Steel etc.). Also, all hostile mobs, Zombie Pigmen and Endermen (not Boss Mobs) have a rare chance of dropping their own head. Peaceful mobs that spawn in group will become o herdso , so hitting one of them will send the whole group fleeing for a short time. Boss Mobs will not be affecting by any of the special abilities of these new types of armour, but they are affected by Enchantments.

Firstly, Stone armour.

Wearing Stone armour above ground will have no outstanding effect, but below ground mobs could only see the player from 10 blocks away, not 16. In the Nether and End, mobs will be able to see the player from further away, as the player stands out. This will take double damage from Pickaxes.

Grass armour is the same as Stone armour, except with a higher durability, as it is harder to obtain, and only works above ground in Plains and Extreme Hills biomes. In other dimensions, the player will also stand out further, but this armour will have no effect on the player visibility in other Overworld biomes. This will take double damage from Shovels.

Dirt armour has no outstanding abilities, and lower durability than Leather, given that it is easy to obtain. This will take double damage from Shovels.

Cobblestone armour also has no special abilities, and is stronger than Dirt, but has one weakness: attack have a chance to use a lot of its durability. This is because they can remove a stone from it. This will take double damage from Pickaxes.

Each type of Wooden Plank armour looks different, but all have the exact same effects and one weakness: mobs attacking with an Axe of any type deal double the damage they will deal normally.

A player wearing one piece of Bedrock armour will take three quarters of the normal damage, two pieces will take half damage, three pieces will take only one quarter, and a full set of Bedrock armour means the player will take no damage. Bedrock armour also has infinite durability. However, the player cannot craft Bedrock armour; it is only available in the Creative Inventory and is intended for map makers to use as a special prize.

Water armour will make the player very hard to see if the player is in Water in any biome, mobs can only spot the player from 5 blocks away. This armour will also give the player Aqua Affinity I and put the player under the potion effect of Water Breathing (not obtainable by Brewing). Water armour also hydrates nearby farmland blocks. This will be crafted from Buckets of Water, not actual Water, as that cano t be obtained without cheating. Buckets will be emptied, and each Bucket will have a chance of disappearing afterwards. The chance of disappearance is 5% on Peaceful, 10% on Easy, 15% on Normal, 20% on Hard and 25% on Hardcore. Touching Lava will turn the Lava into Cobblestone or Obsidian, depending on whether it is flowing or not.

Lava armour will make the player completely resistant to Fire, and will set any mobs that hit the player on fire for a short duration, shorter on harder difficulties. If the player is in Lava in any biome, the player can only be seen from 5 blocks away. The Buckets of Lava used to craft this behave the same way as the Buckets of Water. Lava armour will also set blocks the player walks on on fire, which behaves like normal fire and can be extinguished normally. Touching Water will turn the Water into Cobblestone or Stone, depending on whether the Water is flowing or not.

Sand armour will be exactly like Dirt armour, except for when the player is in Desert biomes, where mobs can only see the player from 10 squares away, as the player blends in. This will take double damage from Shovels.

Gravel armour has a very helpful ability: wearing full Gravel armour gives the effect of Feather Falling V, one level above the level obtained with Enchantments. This is because the player's armour wants to fall as well. However, on Hard and Hardcore, the player will be put under the Slowness potion effect, as the player's armour is pulling the player to the ground, and the player uses food more quickly on Normal and above. This armour has no negative effects on Peaceful and Easy. This will take double damage from Shovels.

Wood armour gives the player some camouflage depending on what type of Wood and what biome. Oak Wood amour means mobs further than 10 squares away cano t see the player in the player is in a Forest biome, Birch does the same, but only 5 squares, as Birch trees are less common, therefore meaning the player's camouflage isno t as good. Pine Wood amour acts the same as Oak Wood armour, but in Taigas, and Jungle Wood armour works in Jungles. These four types of armour take double damage from Axes.

Leaf armour acts the same as the Wood armour above, except with a higher durability, and less protection against fire.

Glass Pane armour means all mobs within 8 squares in any biome cano t see the player, and Glass armour prevents all mobs within 16 squares seeing the player. However, as (real life) glass is easily smashed, Glass and Glass Pane armours have very low durability.

Sandstone armour acts the same as Sand armour, except with 4.2x the durability. Chiseled and Smooth Sandstone armour is the same as Sandstone amour, except they look slightly different. When in Desert Temples, mobs further than 10 blocks away cannot see the player. These will take double damage from Pickaxes.

Note Block armour plays sounds to confuse hostile mobs. If they areno t looking at the player, they will think the player is another mob, as the player sounds like one. If they look at the player, they will stop for a while, very confused, as they thought the player was a mob, and will try to work out the truth. The player can use this moment of confusion to run in and kill, or escape. Jukebox armour has a wider range, 16 squares instead of 10, has slightly more durability than Diamond armour, and makes mobs less likely to look at the player. If there is a Music Disc in the player's inventory, wearing this amour will play it. These will take double damage from Axes.

Cobweb armour slows all mobs within 5 squares of the player to the speed they would go walking through cobwebs. This also affects Cave Spiders. This will take double damage from Swords.

TNT armour has lower durability, but the players sort-of wants it to be destroyed because, when a piece of TNT armour is destroyed, it kills all mobs within 16 squares immediately, except Boss mobs, with lose half their remaining health. If the player dies when wearing TNT armour, the explosion depends on the amount of TNT armour the player is wearing: 1 piece means 16 squares, 2 pieces means 24, 3 pieces means 32 and a full set means all mobs within 48 squares are killed.

Bookshelf armour has a big advantage when Enchanting: depending on the amount of Bookshelf armour being worn, the less Experience will be taken after Enchanting an item. This will take double damage from Axes.

Wearing Moss Stone armour will affect the playero s visibility in Dungeons. 1 piece does nothing, 2 pieces means mobs cannot see the player, but will attack the player if the player hits them or bumps into them, 3 pieces will means mobs wono t attack the player if the player bumps into them, but will if the player hits them, and 4 pieces means the player is completely invisible, and mobs will never attack the player. However, this only applies to mobs spawned from the Spawner, and other mobs that spawned outside the Dungeon and walked in can still see the player. Moss Stone armour also affects mobs in Jungle Temples. This will take double damage from Pickaxes.

Obsidian armour gives the same protection as Diamond armour, but has a lot higher durability. This will take double damage from Diamond Pickaxes.

Each piece of Chest armour the player wears will affect the playero s inventory space: 1 piece will add 1 extra line to the playero s inventory, 2 pieces will means 2 extra lines, 3 means, and a full set of Chest armour will give the player 5 extra lines, but 4 only on Hardcore. If a piece of armour is destroyed or taken off, everything in the line in the playero s inventory added by it is shifted to other spaces, or thrown onto the ground if there are no spaces. This will take double damage from Axes.

Wearing a full set or Crafting Table armour will double the output of Crafting Tables. Crafting Table armour has 3x the durability of Wooden Plank armour, but will not take double damage from Axes.

Wearing a full set of Furnace Armour doubles the output and speed of Furnaces, as well as making each fuel 1.5x more effective, but only if the player has open the Furnace GUI at that time. Wearing a full set means the player only has to be within 16 squares of the Furnace. This will take double damage from Pickaxes.

Wearing Ladder armour will triple the playero s climbing speed up Ladders and Vines, but, due to all the holes in Ladders, enemies will have a chance of missing the armour and hitting the player directly. This will use up none of the Ladder armouro s durability.

Ice armour will makes all mobs within 10 squares lose their footing like their on Ice, but the player will not be affected by Ice, allowing the player to walk over it like normal. However, Ice loses durability very quickly if the player is on Fire.

Snow armour makes mobs further than 5 squares away not see the player if the player is in a Tundra or Taiga biome. Snow Block armour has 4.1x the durability, and affects mobs up to 10 squares away. This will take double damage from Shovels.

Cactus armour has a special effect: any mob that attacks the player gets damaged. The more armour the player is wearing, the more damage they take. However, putting on Cactus armour damages the player. Flint armour is the same, but only deals half the damage.

Clay (block) armour has no outstanding effects, but takes double damage from Shovels. Brick (block) armour has 5 times the durability. Clay (item) and Clay Brick (item) have 4x less durability than their block counterparts.

Pumpkin armour makes Endermen not become hostile if the player is looking at them and it wono t block the playero s vision. It also makes nearby Pumpkins grow a lot quicker, if the player is wearing a full set. A full set also makes Endermen not become hostile to the player until they have half health or less left.

Netherrack armour grants complete resistant to Fire damage, and makes mobs in the Nether not be able to see the player from further than 10 blocks away. Ghasts cano t see the player from further than 50 blocks. This will take double damage from Pickaxes.

Soul Sand armour will have the same effect as Cobwebs, and will work on mobs within 10 squares. This will take double damage from Shovels.

Crafting together Soul Sand and Ice will create Soul Ice, a single block that has the same effect as Soul Sand on Ice. Crafting this type of armour will have the effects of both Soul Sand armour and Ice armour, but without the weakness to Fire, and affects mobs up to 16 squares away.

Glowstone armour puts the player under the effect of Potion of Night Vision, but with no time limit. It will also blind any mobs that come within 10 squares due to the intense light. These mobs will be disorientated, and cannot see anything. They will randomly wander until they are further than 10 blocks away, where they will recover their sight, but wono t try to walk towards the player this time. Jack-O-Lantern armour does the same, but only blinds mobs within 5 squares. Glowstone Dust armour has 4.1x less durability than Glowstone armour, meaning the player loses materials in the long run.

Stone Brick armour has 4.1x the durability of Stone armour, but reduces the playero s visibility only in Strongholds, affecting mobs up to 10 squares away. Mossy Stone Bricks and Cracked Stone Bricks armours look fancier, and have more durability, but only affect mobs up to 5 squares away. Chiseled Stone Bricks does not reduce the playero s visibility, but has high durability, given how rare it is. These will take double damage from Pickaxes.

Iron Bar armour will have an in-built weakness: as it is built out of bars, with holes in, mobs have a chance of missing the armour, dealing full damage. However, if a mob holding something attacks the player and the player suddenly spins, it will rip the tool out of the mob's hand, meaning next attack is normal damage.

Mycelium armour is the same as Grass armour, except if the player is standing on Mycelium in any biome (thanks to Silk Touch), mobs further than 10 blocks wono t be able to see the player, 5 if the player is in a Mushroom biome. It also has 5x the durability.

Lily Pad armour makes the player float on the top of water, but the player does use up a little extra Hunger. Boat armour is more effective, with higher durability and uses up no extra Hunger. It also allows the player to move very quickly through Water, twice the speed of Boats, triple the speed if the player is wearing a full set.

Netherbrick armour acts the same as Netherrack armour, except it has 4.2x the durability.

Enchantment Table armour means using an Enchantments table will use up no Experience. Having a full set of Enchantment Table armour means the player can Enchant items with up to 50 Experience, allowing for items to have more Enchantments of a higher level. Enchanting Gold tools with Enchantment Table armour means the Tool is guaranteed to have Unbreaking. The player can also Enchant from the playero s inventory, meaning placing Bookshelves, and even placing Enchantments Tables, isno t needed to Enchant items. The Player can also increase the level of an Enchantment of a tool, but not add any new Enchantments. This armour also has incredible durability, 5.3x higher than Obsidian armour.

End Stone armour camouflages the player in the End, making Endermen not hostile if the player looks at them, and unable to find the player unless they are within 16 blocks of the player, compared to their normal search range of 64. In the Overworld, Endermen will purposely teleport to near the player, as the player is o wearing their homeo , but will only teleport directly in front of the player, and then become hostile because the player looked at them, on Hard and Hardcore, with a rare chance to do so on Normal. This will take double damage from Pickaxes.

Redstone Lamp armour acts the same as Glowstone armour, blinding mobs up to 10 squares away, but only if the player is holding a Redstone Torch in the playero s hand, allowing the player to effectively o turn offo the effect of Redstone Lamp armour. Mobs will remain disorientated for 2 seconds after turning off Redstone Lamp armour.

Ender Chest armour acts the same as Chest armour, except the player can access the inventory of the playero s Ender Chest without having to place one, meaning the player doesno t lose any resources. It also has durability which is 6x higher than Obsidian.

Wearing a Mob Head will prevent mobs of that type further than 5 blocks away from seeing the player. Wearing a mob head then attacking that type of mob will confuse it for 2 seconds. Heads provide little protection against mobs, and no protection against the type of mob that dropped it, so a Creeper Head will protect a little against Zombies, but not at all again Creepers.

Wearing any type of Food armour will slowly fill the playero s Hunger Bar. The more Food armour the player is wearing, the more food will be regenerated, more quickly. Cooked foods are more effective than raw foods, which also have a chance to Food Poison the player.

Golden Apple armour will give the player permanent Regeneration effect, so long as the player is wearing it. Enchanted Golden Apple armour will give the player permanent Regeneration, Resistance and Fire Resistance as long as the player is wearing it. Golden Apple armour has 8x less durability than Gold armour, and Enchanted Golden Apple armour has 10x more durability than Gold armour. Both Apple armours have the same Hunger Bar effect as all Food armours.

Saddle armour will triple the playero s speed on Pigs, and prevent the playero s Carrot on a Stick from losing any durability if the player has full Saddle armour. Any less than full will mean it loses durability slower than normal.

Redstone armour has a special effect: if it is in the square next to Redstone, or something affected by Redstone, it will activate, turning it on/off, depending on tis state beforehand. It is advised not to wear this armour near any Redstone devices.

Sugar Cane armour is weak, but can regenerate durability if the player is wearing it and standing in Water.

Paper amour has no special abilities.

Book armour has a special ability, the opposite of Beds: it can skip through the day. Some players want it to be night again to fight more mobs, and reading books is a good way to pass the time, so wearing Book armour will accelerate the day. The more armour, the faster the day goes. It will slightly increase the growth speed of the playero s crops, but not as much as it speeds the passing of time, making Book armour a bad choice if the player is trying to establish a farm.

Compass armour will give the player a miniature compass on the playero s screen, pointing to a few different things: the playero s Spawn point, North, the playero s bed, the nearest Village (not necessarily discovered yet), and to the nearest hostile mob. If the player is in the End or has spawned the Wither, an additional arrow points to that as well. Map armour is slightly stronger, and adds a minimap onto the playero s screen, not just arrows. The map also shows the location of all hostiles within 16 squares. A full set of armour also shows the locations of ores within 16 squares, but not what type of ore they are.

Fishing rod armour, as well as decreasing the time in between getting a fish, catches fish for the player if the player is in water, meaning the player can be moving across a Swamp, maybe Slime-hunting, and catching fish at the same time. Catching fish uses up no durability of the armour.

Clock armour, as well as have 4.5x the durability of Gold armour, also show lots of useful information. The time is shown, as well as what mobs could spawn on the square the player is standing, and whether Slimes could spawn there.

Bone Meal armour is very useful if the player is trying to establish a farm: any crops within 16 squares grow at double their normal rate, triple if the player is wearing full Bone Meal armour.

Brewing Stand armour allows the player to instantly brew potions without the need to place a Brewing Stand. The player can also use 1 ingredient to make 6 potions. The player can also see instructions on how to make all the potions with this armour. This also has the added bonus of making Witches only be able to see the player from 5 blocks or closer, invisible until the player attack if the player is wearing a Witch Head.

Cauldron armour allows the player to hold Water and Lava in the playero s inventory without the use of buckets. A bucket is needed to collect it, but then it goes to a special part of the playero s inventory.

Fire Charge armour sets mobs that come within 5 squares of the player on fire, and the player can launch fire charges at a mob by right-clicking with nothing equipped. This uses up 10 durability.

Wearing armour crafted from the drops of hostile mobs renders the player invisible if the player is also wearing the Head of that mob, otherwise the player cannot be seen from further than 5 blocks.

Blaze Rod armour works against Blazes. Blaze Powder armour has 3.2x less durability, making it worse in the long run.

Wearing String armour does not prevent Spiders and Cave Spiders seeing the player if they are closer than 5 squares away as they have too many eyes to be tricked. However, Spider Eye armour with a Spider Head does make the player invisible. Even though the player can eat Spider Eye, it does not count as a food armour.

Gunpowder is used to craft Creeper-protective armour. Gunpowder also creates a small explosion if a Creeper or TNT explodes with the player in its radius. This mini-explosion will not harm the player, only all mobs nearby, but the player will then have no Gunpowder armour, only other types of armour they might have been wearing. This armour also stops Ghasts further than 60 squares seeing the player, instead of their normal 100.

Ender Pearl armour gives the player the ability to teleport if the player right-click with no item in hand, and will prevent Endermen from becoming hostile unless the player attack them.

Ghast Tear armour makes the player invisible to Ghasts 30 squares or more away, less than a third or their normal search range.

Magma Cream works on the different sizes of Magma Cubes with different effective radius. It is 10 blocks for big Cubes, 5 for small and 2.5 squares for tiny Magma Cubes.

Bone armour works against Skeletons, and also works against Wither Skeletons, but only at half-range, and a Skeleton Head wono t make the player invisible. It is Coal armour that works properly against Wither Skeletons.

Slimeball armour will mean anything mobs have equipped in hand will stick to the playero s armour. After 1 minute, the item on the playero s armour will go into the playero s inventory. If there is no space, it will be thrown onto the ground. Skeleton arrows will stick in as well, but the player cannot pick them up, they will disappear. It also reduces the playero s visibility to Slimes with the same effects on different sizes of Slimes as Magma Cream armour has on different sizes of Magma Cubes.

Rotten Flesh armour works against Zombies, and attracts nearby wild Wolves towards the player, allowing a player to find them easier, and they can be tamed by right-clicking with an empty hand if the player is wearing full Rotten Flesh armour. This is a type of food armour, and the most likely to give the player Food Poisoning. This armour also works against Zombie Pigmen, as does Gold Nugget armour, though that has 9.5x less durability than Gold armour, meaning a loss of resources over time.

As groups of passive mobs flee when the player hits one (see the top), wearing their drops will prevent the group from running, but not the mob the player actually hits. Armour made from the food that the mob drops will not prevent them from running, it will in fact scare them, so the whole herd will run for longer if the player hits one while wearing a type of meat armour.

Feather armour is anti-Chicken, but will also slow the playero s falling and reduce the playero s fall damage, but is less effective than Gravel armour. Egg armour wono t stop falling, but regenerates itself over time and Chickens dono t flee either.

Leather armour is the same as Leather armour currently is, but stops Cows and Mooshrooms from fleeing.

Wool armour is like Leather armour, but the colour of it is changed in the original crafting, not afterwards, and prevents Sheep running.

Gold armour is bling, and all mobs will be shocked to see a player so rich he can ear Gold armour. Wearing one piece, they will be shocked, and wono t move for 2 seconds. 2 pieces, they wono t move for 4 seconds, 3 pieces and they wono t move for 6 seconds, and a full set of Gold armour and they wono t move for10 seconds after seeing the player.

Mobs, when attacking, have a chance of missing the links in Chain armour, dealing full damage.

Iron armour has no changes, neither does Diamond.

Lapis Lazuli armour has no special abilities.

Emerald armour means Villagers will give cheaper offers, and will like the player more to begin with. However, they will dislike the player more if the player does something bad, as they are shocked that someone who so obviously trades with Villagers a lot could do something like injuring them.

Armour made from blocks of ore has 10x the durability, despite being made out of 9x the materials, as a player needs 72 gems to craft a Chestplate, compared to the normal 8.

Armour crafted out of the ore of a gem makes the player less visible below ground like Stone, but has higher durability, depending on what type of ore it is, and whether it was obtained with Silk Touch or not.

Yeah, I'm going to re-write it if I have some spare time to do so, so you can read it quickly. But thanks for the diamond.

Even just reformatting it into chunks, such with headings, could significantly improve your post in my opinion. Your welcome for the diamond, you put a lot of thought and work into this, so I think you deserve it.
