Creepers aren't really that bad. They are the nicest of all the monsters.

I agree that creepers aren't as bad as people think they are, as they signal you, have a larger detonation radius than blast radius, are slow, and not all that dangerous in groups. But they still do a lot of damage, and they sometimes seem to explode without warning. And they are designed to mob you, so in addition to being hoarded by zombies, ambushed by a spider, and shot at with arrows, you're blown up.

But I don't think that zombies are scary. Their lame, slow and attack simply by ramming you. They can be easily dispatched with your fists, even in small groups. But yes, Jeb has been making zombies and skeletons progressively scarier over the last several updates (And I want him to make other mobs scarier as well), their still pretty straightforward.

But again, mobs are designed to mob (And no, that's not where the term comes from). Any overworld mob is an easy one-on-one, but can be immensely dangerous in large groups.

But, whereas creepers are capable of doing a lot of damage, their tools rather than enemies when you become a professional Minecrafter. I'm rarely killed by creepers, either because I detonate them from far away, in water, around other mobs, ect. So their not scary at this point in my skills. I want Jeb to make creepers scary again in some update. Either make them faster, stealthier, stronger, or smarter. If you look at ModderPenguins's MinePG mod, you will (probably) see that they plan to make creepers more like deranged ghasts than creepers. If you can't find mention of it in the comments or the wiki, simply contact him.

5 minutes ago i got blown up by one, LITERALLY 5 MINUTES AGO! me no like creeper. and also, they are still hostile during daytime, unlike spiders, WITH SPIDEYS YOU GET A LOUD HISS EVEN WHEN THEY ARE FAR AWAY! spiders are nicer, once i had the friendly creeper glitch, and i named the creeper dylan, ad then i chopped his head off with a diamond sword :3

I agree with you and for those who do have creeper problems just do what I do last night a creeper blew up my farm what did I do I fixed the farm than
Placed torches everywhere to prevent all mobs spawning around my base

I hate skeletons. I've died more times from them then lava. (that's saying something!)
