Ask PMC: Content Frequency
Hey, it's Tomandgreen with a question for all of PMC! Please leave your response in the comment section below, so I can see where people stand of this topic. What I'm talking about today is content frequency!
People expect a certain amount of content from someone they're subscribed to, whether that be once a month or once a day! A lot of famous users here on PMC post stuff rather infrequently. Disco_ , the top PMC user posts a map about once every 1-3 months, sometimes taking longer breaks! This may work for users with huge fan-bases already, but can the average user do the same thing?
I personally aim for once piece of content every 7 days, but usually put up a blog and a skin per week. Sometimes I feel like maybe I should slow down, and keep things at a relaxed pace, but there are also times where I wonder if I should speed up my process and put out even more! It's a tough thing to balance.
So what do you think? What is the optimal rate one should release content? Does it depend on certain factors? What do you guys think I should do, frequency wise? Thanks for sharing your opinion, and be sure to diamond this if you want more people to see it. That's all for now, see you!
