I think we should have a new craft-able in the game. It would be nice to have like an "auto-mining machine". It would be made on a crafting-bench grid of:
-Bottom Left: Iron Ingot
-Middle Left: Iron Ingot
-Top Left: Brewing Stand
-Bottom Right: Iron Ingot
-Middle Right: Iron Ingot
-Top Right: Brewing Stand
-Center Bottom: Iron Ingot
-Center Middle: Red-stone Repeater
-Center Top: (nothing)
I know that most people would like to make a house, but they don't have any materials and they feel to lazy to mine anything underground. Also including they don't want to die with a whole bunch of "diamonds" or "gold" in their inventory. So how about the auto-mining machine. It will collect any item and will not be attacked by mobs. It is a very helpful tool(, I think at least).
