Hello everybody, I'm Mattlegostar and today I'm going to talk about newb-ish projects. (no offense to newbs) And some of you may know what I mean and are probably angry about this topic also. For those of you who don't know what I mean here you go:

The Problem

Almost 75% of all the projects that are posted on PMC these days are lame. Why? Well it's because most of the projects look like they were built in 2 seconds. :/ And yet the people who make them wonder why they aren't getting any downloads and rage at PMC. Most newbs look after builders like Hypixel or FVDisco, etc. But when they decide to make and build the project they realize one thing: It's harder than it looks. So they try and get lazy with the project and instead build something simpler than what they intended to build in hopes to get popular. You will NOT get popular that way.

The Possible Solution

If you intend to build a marvelous project then stick to it. It's OKAY to build something horrible. We all had that horrible building style when we first played MC. But when you apply it to PMC it just doesn't work. The people these days want huge builds like Herobrine Origins, Death Sentence Arena, or the Lost Potato. Not things like "my first survival house" or "5 block high guard tower". Also, putting an exclamation mark at the end of you're project doesn't work. Especially when it's over used like: ultra garden PvP map!!! It just bores the communities' interest.

Conclusion

So newbs, take time and effort into what you make. The community does not want to see the projects section overcrowded with boring, 2 second built projects anymore. It get's old and the community is forced to look at the Pop Reel now a days and only be limited to that. What happened to the old PMC where everybody took pride in what they did?
