Hey,If you just joined PMC here are some basic rules

Don't copy Wikipedia pages
Don't copy,duplicate or remix skins or texture packs
Be friendly and positive to to other members
Be respectful to staff

Here's some things you should do
If you see people with the same profile picture or blog picture then don't use it. make your own picture or find one no one uses much.

If you post a map you should make a title and border for the picture more people will click on it. you can make your own picture on Photoshop,gimp or some other picture maker/editing program.

Make something like a signature so people can identify you as the person who made the work. This is a good way to stop work theft

If you want i can make you a signature, title picture or help you with skin shading.
