Firsat, cut down a tree with your fists. Then, make your wood into planks and make a crafting table. Make 2 planks into 4 sticks in a vertical line. Even, now, make 3 planks and 2 sticks into a pickaxe and mine 3 stone. Then make a stone pickaxe, just like a wooden one but with stone. Then mine for iron and make an iron one. Then a few gold ones. (use iron too!) Then, if you manage to find some, make a DIAMOND ONE. The diamond ore can only appear below level 20. (a very long way down) and it could reap through everything in Minecraft APART from bedrock. Make shovels to dig dirt, (1 peice of material and the two sticks) or axes to make yourself a woodcutter aswell (same stuff as pickaxe but assorted differently) Even, if you think you are dangered, make a sword. (2 planks and 1 stick in shovel shape) and become a farmer too with a hoe (2 planks and 2 sticks) Swords also kill animals quicker. (and, on multiplayer, even other players!) If you ever feel TOO dangered, switch difficulty to Peaceful. (no hostile mobs and life regeneration) You can figuire the rest from all the stuff i have told you.
