Blaze
Blazes are a hostile mob with a yellow skin and black eyes found in the Nether fortress
Blazes spawn nauturally in Nether fortresses and can also spawn from Blaze spawners scattered across the fortress.
When killed by a Player or a tamed wolf they will drop a blaze rod. Blazes which are killed by other causes drop nothing. However, in console versions they drop 0-2 glowstone dust. they also drop 10 experiences if killed by a player or wolf.
Although blazes are able to fly, they will stay on the ground or sink down slowly in the air when not attacking. Blazes will attempt to swim upwards in lava much like regular mobs behave in water. When they see a player, they will start flying and attacking. They will catch fire briefly before shooting 3 fireballs in rapid succession. A short cool down period occurs between attacks.
Blazes shoot fireballs at the player, dealing 3 on easy, 5 on normal, and 7 on hard. The fireball will set anything it hits on fire, including solid blocks, mobs, and the player. Blazes will shoot fireballs even if a wall is between them and the player. A blaze shoots its fireballs with roughly the same lack of accuracy as a dispenser; however the blaze's shots maintain the same speed all the way to the target, unlike the dispenser's which starts slow and accelerates.
In addition to normal weapons, blazes can be hurt by snowballs, taking 3 damage per hit. They are also damaged by water and rain every second. Like all Nether mobs, they are immune to fire and lava.
