Many people make their roofs flat or in pyramid shape... in other words, kinda shitty xD... In this tutorial, I'll try and show you how i make my own roofs which kinda are organics and the outside of the house! The Resources pack used in the photos is Conquest.

1. I like to start of my buipld with a nice palette. Usually I making the roof with two different colors of hardened clay or wool. This time i will be using blue and cyan clay. I also used the new acacia log as my main support.


2. Make an outline of the build with the logs, nothing too hard.

3. Start making the first layer of the roof, with the purpleblue
Proceed to building the second layer in the same way, on the next log layer.

4. Keep going until you reach the top of the roof, with the same pattern w/ the clay.

5.Start adding curves and shapes on the flat parts. With the cyan clay, 'underline' your roof, starting at the bottom and all the way around.

6. Repeat the same roof, at a smaller scale on the sides, to form the entrance(s).

7.Start adding detail to the house itself. I used mostly stairs, fences, walls and hatches aswell as buttons.
