I thought I should say something about this. I took a break from MC for maybe a year or two (school/life) and I missed a lot of updates and the servers I play added a lot of new features. So many amazing things were added and I was really impressed and excited. Minecraft has become so advanced and complicated in my opinion. Its really fun to be apart of its growth and journey. The Minecraft community I left was so much fun and lovely, and coming back with the updates and server enhancements I thought it would be more so, but no. The Minecraft community I came back to is anything but that. I dont know what happened, I am talking only from my experience. I am not saying that mean people didnt play minecraft when I first joined, it just has grown so much its gotten out of hand. I had never been called a "bitch" or a "whore" until just a few days ago when I beat some guy in Survival Games. I usually just brush that stuff off in real life, or on the internet. But this time it was really excsessive, and they proceeded to continue to harrass me with awful names and slurs. I dont understand why people hate teams so much in SG? When I team with my friend we get so much hate! and it really hurts me. People are forgetting what being a community means, MC is special and we represent the game when new players join. Right now I think we are a horrible example to new players. We shouldn't beat others down when they win a game we should congratulate them. We shouldn't laugh at people when they lose. Its really offputting and I have stopped playing on Mineplex because of how horrible its gotten. Where are the mods or admins??? We need someone to step in and say something for all the kids being bulliled and being told to stop playing. Minecraft is about inspiration and creativity, and the people out there trying to crush others for their wins and loses are ruining that. I would just like more people to be brave enough to say something and for staff to be more present in their servers.
