Chapter 1

Now, before you think I'm nice, I'm not. My name is Carrie Abernathy, and I'm an orphan. Not one of the weepy ones wishing for a parent, but one that's a loner. I personally think that's the better type, but people think otherwise. Now, back to the story. My parents had went to a party, and left me home alone. Rude. And plus, the babysitter they hired? She didn't even let me play with knives! She also made me mush, when I like turkey, some roast beef, a salad, and mashed potato's. Oh, did I forget the pie for dessert? People these days leaving me with her. I get first class food. Do you hear me? FIRST CLASS. I throw my mush across the room. "Spoiled brat", she mutters. "Bed time!" Wait, what? She didn't FEED me. This deserves some sort of punishment. She goes to the bathroom. I go into her purse. Let's see here... We have some make-up, a guide to babysitting kids, and money. Hmmm... What should I take? Then I realize it: I can take the guide and make it my way.I tell her that you MUST feed the kid. Oh, and make him/her a feast. I also put in that you should go to bed before the kid, to make them want to go to bed. Also actually go to sleep. Perfect! And just in time; she was coming down the stairs. She picked up the book, said "It's my bedtime!" went upstairs, and went to sleep. Then, I went out the front door, and played in the snow. My parents car just came up the street. And then, everything went black.
