After the Spider and Zombie sneak up directly behind Steve, they begin their attack with the Zombie punching Steve with his fists really hard with the Spider laying cobwebs, slowing Steve down preventing him from running away. Steve can't attack them as he has no weapons or tools on himself, except for his pickaxe.
He grabs his pickaxe and digs it straight into the Zombie's green-glowy flesh. The Zombie howls in pain and the Spider starts biting Steve. Steve then grabs ahold of the Spider and tries to throw him into the pool of lava surrounding him and the Spider in the cave with the Zombie slowly dying on the floor. The Spider begins to bite Steve aggressively but Steve manages to toss the Spider into the pool of lava and quickly runs out of the cave.
The Zombie however calls out to his friends, the other Mobs in the cave. Skeletons and Creepers begin following Steve up out of the cave. Steve hurries as the Mobs follow him onwards outside of the cave, sunlight reflects off the river and begins burning the Skeletons alive. Steve swims across the river and the Creepers are trapped on that island for many more days, weeks, months or even years to come...
