Long ago, side-scrolling platform games were the final word in gaming - they were the measure of entertainment, skill and determination. As time went on, that unique brand of fun somehow never wore out - if anything, it only got better with time. And now, here we are in the future; better hardware, smarter players and an ever-growing demand have come together into a single, shining point of light - and that light is Cobalt!

Much like Minecraft in it's infancy, Cobalt is being released in an Alpha stage today, to let people have a chance to play-test it, and see the game as it develops firsthand. Developed by indie team Oxeye Game Studios and published by Mojang, this highly addictive action plat-former already has the makings of a great game. Want to try it out for yourself? Check out the official Cobalt Forums and Cobalt Wiki now for details!

It's so nice of you to put all that effort into copying and pasting the text description straight from the mine craft forums, oh and hyperlinks also . . . WOW! Don't we have that rule about original content still?

It was VERY nice of me. I clearly didn't claim it as original content. If you look at the additional credits area it reads: "Credit:Minecraft Forums, Mojang, Oxeye Game Studios". I take post things from OMF and post them here because not everyone checks OMF or the Wiki to see when new things are posted. And before you go getting all "WOW" on me, the hyper links where not copy and pasted, I took the time to post those links by going to the website myself and grabbing them. Also, if you take the time to check all my submissions, I have plenty of original content and submissions there. So before you post something the way you just did, take time to check the entire post first. K? Thanks!

Also, if you take the time to view my other submissions, which you wont, you will see that anything not original, is posted as a "BLOG" which is something used to post information for others to read and not to mention I always give credit to a user or source I gather information from.

I know right, I'm a bitch but its what I'm here for, I appreciate that you do post original content and this is a one off, intact I'm a fan of a lot of your work, however the original content clause not only covers pmc submissions but also those made elsewhere, so copying a post directly from another blog (which is in effect what the mcf's home page is) still goes against the clause, regardless of whether or not credit is given. The box refers to 'additional credit', hence referring to a joint effort between you and the other creators of the content posted. Posting content would therefore not refer you for credit. It's similar to the premise of reposting a server your a member of.
