Mojang has releases this weeks snapshot! They are attempting to separate server logic from the client. They want to make adding features to the game easier in the future so that they don't have to code it twice, once for server and once for client. The changes are NOT complete but the game should run normally.

Also note, ANY TEXTURE PACKS in your folders when installing this snapshot WILL be removed.



List of changes:
  • New stuff in debug screen:
  • Coordinates are now rounded.
  • "ws", "fs" and "g". g is true if the player is touching the ground.
  • Separated server logic and client. Singleplayer is now a local server.
  • Added optional support for server-side texture packs. When installing this snapshot, any and all texture packs in the "texturepacks" folder will be removed.
  • More fixes to silk touch and block picking.
  • Wooden tools work in furnaces.
  • Cocoa Beans are now obtainable in jungle tree leaves.
  • Villagers spawned from spawning eggs will get a random profession.
  • Hardcore Mode is now available in multiplayer.
  • Updated language files.
  • Splash "Mojang" screen now appears for a shorter time (1 second instead of 3 seconds).

Notable Bugs:
  • Enchanting doesn't work. (Both SP/MP)
  • Repairing tools doesn't work.
  • Fully charged bows don't produce any particles.
  • Sounds occasionally do not play in general, or have an huge delay when playing.
  • Door sounds don't work.
  • Movement is less smooth.
  • Tools enchanted in previous versions lose their enchantment (armor is still enchanted)
  • When creating a new creative world, the player is spawned in survival mode (and has to type /gamemode 1 to be in creative).
  • If you select an old creative world, you will be put back into survival mode.
  • Arrows appear to be dropping in front of the player until they hit something.
  • Pressing escape no longer pauses the game.

this is little buggy, but now when you die, the camra goes to spawn, like you can see path from where you were to bspawn
