To begin with, I feel kinda bad that my first blog post here has to be a bit of a rant. Honestly, this has to do with a small number of people, and the issue is a bit arbitrary...but I think it's an issue that needs to be addressed.

For the most part, the people with higher levels - especially those in the 30s-40s - post a lot of content that is ridiculously good. Most of their content gets a few hundred views at the least, and an equally high number of downloads. Those people really care about the level of quality their content has, and it shows, and as a result they are "rewarded" with higher XP on the forums.

However, sadly there are also people who just spam low-level content - projects they maybe spent ten minutes on, etc. - and end up with higher levels (usually in the 20s I've noticed). Most of their content only has a few views - maybe 100 at the most - yet because they have posted so much of it they end up earning more XP and therefore have high levels. It's a bit frustrating to see someone with 20 projects and a dozen or so blog posts that have a max of 50 views each with a higher level.

To be entirely honest, I realize that I'm complaining about something that really doesn't matter - it is just an internet ranking, after all. Nor can I really provide any kind of solution to the problem that wouldn't become opinionated, either with mods assigning ranking or not allowing for XP to projects that come off as spam. So I guess this really is just a bit of a worthless rant. xD

Addition: Another problem I find with the way this works is how people who have stolen content but seemingly have a few original works get off completely clean - sure, the projects they've stolen are removed and the credit they got from those taken away, but nothing more than that appears to be done. It's a bit frustrating to see that when someone's stolen your project. :/
