Seeing a blog on how blogs should be removed inspired me to do more blogs.... heh...heh...heh.
Check out my other blog, please!

"Your stupid, this is stupid, and now I'm stupid for looking at it."
-My sister's quote for this blog.
-----------------------
I'd like to welcome everyone, thank you for viewing this blog!
This blog is about criticism and how I personally believe it should be done, and ways to avoid hurting the feelings of even the most stubborn of creators (me heh) . Even, ways to accept criticism, and my understanding of people (me) who don't like criticism.
Criticism is often given rudely and rashly, most of the time, it's called criticism when it really isn't.
Most harsh "criticisms" aren't given out of the idea to tell you a way to become better, but to bash or hurt the feelings of the lower leveled creator, as much as they might deny this, this, psychologically, is the real reason. It is done out of frustration and lack of patients and understanding.

How to Give My Favorite Kind of Criticism.
---------------------------------
Criticism.
If you managed to get to know me well enough, you'd know I hate it. I'm very stubborn in one thing in my life, and that's my art. There's a saying I used to always say....
" If I'm going to get better, I'm going to do it by myself, when I want to."
But... on the rare chance you did say something I agree I could improve on, then it better be nice, with a mix of what is good about it.
Let me explain, so let's say you see a skin that's a... pink panda girl or something.
You notice that the girl's skin is over shaded! Too white, and contrasted!
The skin isn't completely bad though, you see potential... So here is what I would say, and want someone to say to me.
" The skin is adorable, and the concept is great, but I did notice that the skin was too contrasted, and is a bit too white. It's really cute though! ^-^"
Notice how it complements WHILE telling what's wrong about the skin, it softens the criticism and made it feel less like a simple insult on their work. I'd accept a criticism like this anywhere.
Now, if the person still seems upset about it, relax, and don't get angry. This is just common since, they teach it in school even, walk.... away.
Don't reply!
---------------------------------
Why People May Not Accept Criticism...
---------------------------------
Now, I have, and often will, reply to people with something like this "I'm sorry, don't take this personally but I don't take criticism. ^-^" "
How will people reply?
"Go die in a ditch."
This isn't the right way to reply to anyone, or anything.
If I, or anyone, tells you politely that they don't take criticism or don't like your idea, then do not patronize them for it. I want to stress that, it's up to them if they want to make changes to their own work, it isn't in your control to change anything they do, never force a opinion.
People may not accept criticism because they do not like to be judged, and never ask to, or they honestly don't like your idea compared to their style, it doesn't mean you get nagry and look down on them as bad artist, it means they don't plan to please everyone, or maybe even anyone but themselves.
Or they may be like me, like I said, " If I'm going to get better, I'm going to do it by myself, when I want to." I am stubborn about how I do my skins and I probably always will be, I just hope I can find a way to stop people from taking it offensively, I really don't mean to hurt your feelings!
anyways, basically anyone may not accept criticism because of many many reasons! Just don't freak out when they don't!
---------------------------------
How to Accept Criticism
---------------------------------
Yeah, this may seem half redundant, but I've learned long ago that even though I may not do something myself doesn't mean I don't know what I should do. (I try my hardest to always do whats right I promise!)
Criticism though, is a hard thing to accept.
It can feel like a personal attack or just something random and annoying, especially when you can't see where they're coming from.
Usually obvious mistakes that you happened to miss don't count as criticism, but more of correction, so things like "The bottom of your skin's head is backwards" doesn't count.
Something like "I would of put more detail into this section of the blog" would count.
Lets use the above question as a example for now, so if someone tells you this, but you really don't see how you could of, then simply ask him, "what do you mean?" and ask for more detail on it, and he may even give directly good points in it, and really help you with something you missed.
Just like the critic, the person getting criticism must be patient as well!

That's funny, especially since the spelling error was in the "You're doing it wrong".
Nice blog, though.
