Recent updates have made The End a more interesting and rewarding place for players, but also more dangerous with the presence of Shulkers. Many think that Shulker is a new mob, which seems to be the case...however, you're wrong, I would prefer Shulker to be a combination of a mob and an Endermen's creation. You might think this is nuts, trust me, you won't think that anymore when finished reading this article.

To begin with, I'm giong to give you some facts. According to WhaleTuba, in one of his theory, he discovered that the skin image of the Shulkers is titled: "endgolem". The word "golem" means a figure created magically...Therefore, we can say that Shulkers are the Endermen's other creation (they are the only mob in The End that can hold blocks). Which one is the golem? My answer is the only shell. I know, why can't it be the little head...? Let's just look at invisible potions, they give invisibility to the mobs (no wonder) except for the armor, handed items or certain features. Then let's look that a Shulker when given an invisible potion , its shell disappears, the thing is, the little head is still there. Analysis time! Is the little head an armor? No. Is it a handed items? No, definitely no...Or is it a certain feature? Looks like it. but still no :D . The head isn't a feature, it's can shoot out projectiles... However, if it doesn't relate to any of those, it should be invisible unless, it is a machine, *DUN DUN DUN* or something similar to that. Thus, in this case, the shell is the REAL mob.

The reason why the mob's IGN is "Shulker" but the file's name is "EndGolem" will be explained as well: they're giving us a clue that there are actually two different things combined. Also, I can easily distinguish them by giving you another fact; the name "Shulker" is a shorten for "Shell Lurker" which means a thing that's hiding, so it must be the Head. The "EndGolem", must be the shell because Golems are tough and strong, those features connect with the Shell.

In Minecraft Wikia, they says that when a Shulker is killed, it won't respawn...Simply because the Endermen need to create a new head and put it in the Shell :D.

If you already killed a Shulker, you will notice both things died. Why is that? My thought is that the Shell needs a something to be its center, and if the center is destroyed or the shell itself breaks, the whole thing dies. Furthermore, the Endermen made a machine that shoot stuff and put it in the shell because they need something to protect their structures from intruders (like us XD).

Some of you may ask, why is the head a machine but not something else? Well, they shoot bullets that can follow the target if the target changes the direction, which must be a machine like a jet that shoot folowing missiles.

Ultimately, the Shulker is a contraption between a golem and a machine. How crazy is that, ha?
