Death is imminent, live for the moment

Do you remember when you first actually took a minute to think about dying, and you went to sleep afraid of death, and it was on your mind all of the time? I remember when I first thought of death, it was extremely scary.
Now, after thousands of years, it's a mystery to me that we still are scared of death. Something so permanent, something so assured, something the best, most accomplished cheaters can't cheat. Why do we dwell on it so often. The only type of death I'm afraid of is an early one. The only reason I'm afraid of an early death is because it means I won't have the rest of it to continue exploring, to continue experiencing life to it's full potential.
I'm here to tell you to stop, death is imminent, live for the moment. When I say that, I don't mean "YOLO 420 BLAZE IT UP," I mean take a chance when it arrives. Ask out that girl you've been crushing on for a year, join a club, learn something new, and enjoy life. Experiences will make your life better. In this world you live one life (at least that is my view) you either get to live it full of excitement with new experiences, or you get to regret it on your deathbed, wondering what that girl would've said, wondering what would've happened had you taken the chance.
I speak from experience that you will regret not taking chances. So you introverted guys and gals should take a chance, spark up a conversation. I am extremely shy, but I made it my mission in high school to try and become more outgoing, to explore the social ranks and experiment.
It was awkward at first, and I am awkward, but what I found was that people aren't as scary as you make them out to be. Some of my best friends were random conversations I sparked up with people that seemed share similarities with me.
TL;DR:
Take some chances, life ends no matter what you do, so make the best of it.
