"Wait for me, Steve! Wait for me..."
I can't believe it. The war was over, and yet nobody had won. Everyone was dead. Except me. Even Abigail had died, and I was the only human alive. I peeked from my hiding spot, just in case anything was around. There wasn't. Slowly, I crawled from underneath my rock. Everything was gone. Nothing but barren rock and a dusty desert, no cacti in sight. I could not believe my eyes. I sat down and looked at the moon. "Why..." I muttered to my self. "WHY?!?!?" Suddenly from behind me came a soft hiss. It must be one of the government's experiments, the creeper! It detonated and I fell to the ground, closing my eyes for hopefully was the last time, so I could see Abigail again.
^=^=^!!!
That was what woke me up. Standing over me was a tall shadowy figure, holding some grass. He gave me an uneasy feeling. Suddenly I realized what part of him gave me the uneasy feeling. The grass. I swiveled my head to look at the desolate wasteland, which was now grassy with Oak Trees growing. I turned my head back to look at the figure, but he was gone. I sat up and wandered around for a while. Then I dug up some dirt and built a small hut. It was time to avenge Abigail.
A FEW MONTHS LATER...
Peeeeew.... Thunk! KYCHHHHH!
An arrow had pierced my window and a skeleton was staring through the hole. I ran to the armory and put on my iron gear and grabbed my sword. Screaming at the top of my lungs, I ran outside and sliced through the evil spiders, zombies, and skeletons. Once they were all defeated, I heard a ^=^=^ like I had heard oh so long ago. The shadowy figure was there, so I chased him for about an hour. Just as I was about to give up hope and return home, there was a light shining through the darkness. It was odd to see a light at night, so I decided to look closer. A VILLAGE! Just like my ancestors had lived in 400,000,000 years ago. Perhaps Abigail would be among the villagers. I could only hope.
