the desert temple is one of my least favourite levels in the rel MCD, however i quite looked forward to and enjoyed making the level in the base game.
important: this is the first diary to have real spoilers: read at the expense of some fun from this level.
the level is home to many traps, and rooms full of treasure:
(shown: 4 gold rooms)
custom rugs were made, reminiscent of those in highblock keep, and some village houses in pumpkin pastures. these rugs are blue, and (at least on the mainland) only seem to appear here... i will probably add them in the lone fortress DLC level.
the trophy here, is the first trophy not to be hidden, INSTEAD it gets put in a room, that has MNAY traps leading up to it. in short it isnt hard to find, its just hard to GET!
the trophy is the nameless ones skull
the boss at the end of this level is an illusionist.
some prisons, libraries and other special rooms exist, as well as lava trap rooms:

there are 2 mazes... one leads beyond to the next bit of the level... the other leads no-where and is an annoying vex.
