Did Microsoft ruin Minecraft in 1.9?

Alright, enough Adele quotes... Anyways, if you have seen Kawaii's skin she uploaded, you'll know that we are planning a surprise! I will be telling the surprise right about... now. WE ARE PLANNING A....

MEETUP!!! YAY!! So, Kawaii is working on a skin that will explain the major details! So, stay tuned for that skin!!! ♥

Anyways, on with the topic. As you probably are aware of, Minecraft recently updated to 1.9! And Microsoft took over Minecraft. Don't worry, Notch still be with us, it's just now, Microsoft is in the mix. But alot of people have asked me wether I think Microsoft ruined Minecraft. My opinion is not yet decided. So... LET'S MAKE A PROS AND CONS LIST!!!!!


PROS:  new blocks, elytra, new boss, etc...

CONS: "cool down", brewing stands require blaze powder to activate, etc...

So, that's just my list, so it could be different for others. On my list, there are more pros, though I didn't list everything. So, if someone were to ask me again, I would probably say "No, I don't think Microsoft ruined Minecraft!"

Honestly, I really enjoy the new combat system, it now requires more skill then just clicking the button over and over. And as a whole, I really enjoy the update. In fact, this might just be one of my favorite updates, because I actually die more often in singleplayer because I can't just spam and be alright.

Why does everyone fail to realize that Microsoft did nothing to Minecraft? They had no say in the development process, quit misplacing your blame. They didn't make it better or worse, because they had nothing to do with it.

Maybe try educating yourself before making obscure opinions on topics you somehow know little about?

Mojang still develops Minecraft , not Microsoft. Microsoft just bought Mojang. If you want to create a thread like this then write "Did Mojang ruin Minecraft 1.9" . I don't think that Microsoft has a big influence in the development of Minecraft in general ( ala. Never touch a running system )

Pro: Elytra, New commandblock-types, levitation, (more or less) better enderdragon-fight
Contra: Cooldown (With that, skeletons are now really A... (you now, what I mean!)),

It's only one contra, but it's a HUGE contra!
I HATE the 1.9 update! I hope, they make it better in 1.10!

It's funny because, Microsoft doesn't even develop Minecraft. Microsoft just owns it, they have nothing to do with development.

I agree. Microsoft didn't ruin Minecraft. But I think they made it better! Cuz new items 'n' stuff.
