Hello guys, i am maniacheto and i am going to go trough the theme : Did youtubers made Minecraft famous ?
You may already know some youtubers that played Minecraft. Did they made this game popular ? Look at this list with the youtubers who made atleast one video of Minecraft.
BigYoutubers who played Minecraft:
- PewDiePie : Over 23 Million Subscribers !
- SkyDoesMinecraft : Over 9 Million Subscribers !(Only Minecraft Videos Related Channel)
- Yogscast : Almost 7 Million Subscribers !
- TobyGames : Over 6 Million Subscribers !
Whooal ! That is a big amount of people. Some people know already that PewDiePie's first video was a Minecraft video ! He was one of the first youtubers who played Minecraft. SkyDoesMinecraft is making only Minecraft Videos and he won over 9 million Subscribers !?!. But the question is : Did youtubers made Minecraft famous ?
Some of you may answer as Yes, others - No. We can't really guess if Minecraft became a popular game for a short amount of time. But those games are spat out of a machine, one that many serious and long-time gamers have grown increasingly wary of. They are preceded for months (and sometimes years) by marketing double-speak, cinematic trailers, developer diaries, E3 demonstrations, annoying website ads and breathless preview coverage.
Of course, you could say this about any indie game. But few, if any indie games ever got as popular as Minecraft has. With no advertising budget, it's grown from its release in 2009 to one of the biggest and most popular games in the world !
If you ask me what's my answer about this question, I am going to say YES. Minecraft did became a popular game, because some famous youtubers played it or they keep playing it. If you think i am not right, you can say your opinion in the comments.
