I think it was fate that brought us to this castle.
Anyways, a brief recap on what happened last time:
We escaped the pit, despite a very evil giant and at least a billion KotRT (Knights of the Round Table) members, and we reached a gigantic castle with nice people and friendly guards.
As of now we have been chased and nearly killed.
Now that will change.
We reached the castle and went to their ornate gates, carved and studded with diamonds and gold.
We were given a place to sleep and something to eat. The next morning, we talked to their leader.
We walked through the many spacious halls of the castle, Castle Kotir. We walked along towards the throne room, all thinking the same thing: Will the king help us and end Mckee and Armando?
"Ah, hello! and who is this?" the king asked, scratching his beard.
"These are messengers from the north, my king," our guide answered.
"Messengers? About what?" The king frowned and looked at us like we posed a big problem.
"If you want more beer, brew it yourself! It's illegal here now." The king told us.
"Its not that. The north is being controlled by an evil villain. His name is Mckee." Whitecreeper corrected him.
"WHAT?! That old fool? He's back with his little band of monsters? come now, you can't be afraid of that! If you're so scared of him I'll let you borrow some warriors to defeat him," the king exploded.
"No, you must be thinking of someone else....this mckee has an army of monsters and his own gigantic clan full of evil people........," I stopped. What if the king didn't believe us? What then?
"Hmmm.... There was only ever one mckee.... I don't want to trust you, but I have to, because if it is true, he'll come after us next...." The king trailed off, mumbling words under his breath.
"Right. I'll fortify the castle first.... You need to find their base now, so we can fight back," The king said finally, and then clapped his hands and added, "Breakfast!"
Breakfast was the best I'd had in months - no, years. Eggs and bacon, toast, biscuits, and omlettes lay on huge platters the size of small tables. The table itself was almost in a sort of cross, and everyone came inside to eat.
Where the two tables intersected a giant bowl of grapes stood, generously offering its fruit to anyone nearby.
Afterwards the king told us we must somehow find Mckee's base, and mark it on a map.
