I've been making maps for a couple of years now and i found out that you can do a couple of things to make a start to you're Minecraft map.



1. Go for a walk without any distractions (like music) and just look around and don't think;

2. Go read a book or watch a movie to get any idea's;

3. Try making a map for a family member like you're little brother and ask for feedback. I have a little brother myself and i know they can be hard with their feedback but that's just what you want;

4. Just build doesn't matter what you built if you built you can come up with idea's you're self;



lastly if you want to make a story adventure map try to think of the main character first then the time and then the place usually the story will make itself from there.
