Hey,
Today i would like to discuss the idea that listening to music whilst gaming helps to immprove or make you worse.

Different genres of music usually help different types of games. For example, calming music would probably help with strategic games such as Tom Clancy's Ghost Squad whereas dubstep might help with games such as Call of Duty as it inspires you too do better, run faster and be very "On edge".

With that being said it can be different for different play styles. Such as if you like to play at the back with artillery in World of Tanks it would be better to listen to a calmer more inspiring type of music compared to if you were on the frontlines you might listen to a fast pace rap kind of music.

This is really dependent on the playstyle you use. If you want to share your idea's with us email me at reverseplasma@gmail.com to contribute!

Kind regards,
Dylan Watts

Music helps some get into the "Zone". Others it may not.
But music alone doesn't give you super human gaming powers XD (My own words)
But people who get into the "Zone" are more likely to focus a lot more and start to use their skill to the max.

I often just go onto Plug Dj and see what music others are playing - the communities I visit are mostly ones with people who play Minecraft or at least some kind of video game. :3 (I'm also addicted to Nightcore music, don't judge XD)

Ah yes! Plug DJ is quite a good way to share your music. Nightcore is pretty awesome, we don't judge! :)

I would listen to Two Steps from Hell to keep me motivated in any game, I believe they have orchestral music suitable for all game genres

It doesn't, not listening to music is the best for games because the only thing you're going to be hearing is voip and the actual game. Like CSGO, hearing footsteps is really nice.

Very true! But in my opinion for other games (Not FPS') it helps me play, say World of Tanks as the sound is not as important there. But for those games i fully agree with you :)
