"This changes everything." Indeed it does, Hiccup. The gang have all gone their own seperate ways since Dagur and the Screaming Death dillema. (I don't know if that's the right word.) Snotlout is now Gobber's apprentice blacksmith. The twins have devoted their lives to Loki, god of tricks. As for Fishlegs, he's showing the kids around Berk and also teaching them about dragon history. Hiccup and Astrid are still searching for new dragons. But they don't find any, and Astrid gives up. She says she is going to join the Berk Guard. Hiccup congratulates her, but deep down, he knows he's lost his purpose. With no one to back him up, he decides to give up too. But then he learns from a battered Trader Johann that Dagur the Deranged is out of prison and Hiccup is at the top of his revenge list! Johann sends him and his friends to a ship graveyard to reclaim his treasures- and warns them not to board the Reaper, a ship with all too mny booby traps. Hiccup and company are pumped to go on an adventure, but while in the graveyard, they discover giant Bloodbane eels! Hiccup decides to board the Reaper to discover what is inside it and why it's worth booby trapping. He finds that  it is a dragon trapping ship!

          Toothless blasts into the commander's quarters and they find a mysterious cylindrical artifact. They are then greeted by a "giant axe" booby trap and get out to find that Dagur is outside. They eventually escape with the artifact, called the Dragon Eye. 

          In Episode 2, Dragon Eye of the Beholder, Part 2, They can't figure out what the Dragon Eye does, nor how to open it. They take it to Gothi, who writes that they need a Snow Wraith tooth. She also writes that she's mever going back to Glacier Island again, as many of her friends were captured and killed by the Snow Wraith. They still convince her to go, and she leaves Gobber in charge of the apothecary station (which he fails at) and go to Glacier Island. The Snow Wraith attacks their camp. but Gothi fights back, and gets the tooth. Hiccup discovers that by a dragon breathing fire near it, they can discover it's secrets- a map that goes beyond the archipelago!
