Hello Fellow! Welcome to Durin’s Newsletter!
Background:
Durin’s Builders is a Minecraft dwarven build team focused on recreating the Dwarven
Mansions from J.R.R. Tolkien’s world, Middle Earth.
The Opening Mentions:
Cranking the New Year up a notch! Moria and NG have been getting the love! But especially Moria! Loads of new content should be coming in the next couple weeks!
Project Progress:
Narag-Gund: Most of the farmable areas on the river's shores have been finished. We also started redecorating some houses using the glorious playerheads, mostly from Elseweyr's collection, and we are planting much variety in the crops, as mangosteen farms (a Chinese plant), beehives in some trees, Chinese pots and an apiary even! Further than that, we also have most of the farm walls in the northern part being finished, just waiting for crops (I’m 99% sure they will be finished by the next newsletter). Most of the farm's planning is finished, which is very cool because, once the outside area is done (city+farms+nature) we'll begin the dwarven hold! Hurray!
Moria: Moria's got a lot of new decoration, specially using playerhead, which made a bunch of halls much more alive! We also have finished the new crafters halls (but one, we are out of inspiration on how to decorate it xDD), and the revamping of the Belegost tribute hall, the temple, and new decoration on 21st hall are just about to be completed. The grand storage is taking some of our time because it’s rather hard, but it’s still going more than the palace (larara...). We pretend to be starting the halls south of 2nd hall very soon, and when these are finished we'll be starting with the (heavy breathing mode on) waterworks!!!!!!
Nogrod: Well…Still slow.
Freebuild : I’m going to give a Hint: We are starting a mini-map for a game of cat and mouse…
Resource Pack Updates: Oh jolly, this is going so great! Some new models allowed us to make Moria much more alive, and the new armor details, new axes just like the movie ones... you guys are gonna love it, I’m almost sure! (We are working as much as we can to replace the copied textures from other RP, and soon we'll be really done with it! :D)

Thypup : I've heard you'll be revamping KD. When will it begin, and how big will new one be?
Fist : we'll be starting by its birthday, 26th march, and it wont be much bigger than the other one in general size i fear, since we'll be just improving halls and terrain, mostly.

(English : We are still deciding on that, but very probably we'll choose the download path. Maaaybe, depending on the other leaders's will (and members aswell), one or other map wont be downloadable, which might be the case of Moria, but we are yet to decide. But in general, most will be avaliable for sure. And talking about KD, we'll be updating it in close future, improving some stuff, fixing others, etc, so, stay tunned :) )
