Anyways, many if not all of you have noticed Minecraft at one point or another. Some of you scoff it off and say "it looks boring and has terrible graphics" and others praise it by saying "its a great game and is like virtual LEGOs". Well to everyone their own. Anyways, to those of you who have played and enjoyed the game, I'm very sure there has been at least one thing you've wanted to see implemented into Minecraft. Granted there is already a lot in the game, even I want some things added to it.

Because of this, I have compiled a list of ten eight things I would like to see implemented into the full Minecraft game. This list is in no specific order, but is listed by what comes to mind first as I write it. Also, I realize most of the items in this list have probably been implemented as mods, but I would like to see them added to the original, vanilla experience. Anyways, without any further delay, I give you ten things I want to see implemented into Minecraft:

1.) Stain Glass Windows

Eight Things I Want to See Implemented Into Minecraft

With colored wool being implemented into the game over a year ago, who wouldn't want to see this happen to glass and glass panes as well? Personally, I would love to build an old 16th century cathedral complete with stain glass windows. Plus, this is actually something that should be very easy to implement. To make stained glass, just use the same crafting ingredients for making colored wool, the only difference is swapping out the wool for either a glass block or a glass pane.

Really, who wouldn't want to build this in Minecraft?

2.) Coral Reefs

I'm pretty sure everyone who has played Minecraft has found undersea exploration to be very dull, lifeless, and just plain boring...... *oh look.... a squid* Essentially, in Minecraft, all you find underwater are sand, clay, and squid. One thing that I would love to see added to Minecraft are coral reefs. This would the ocean a lot more interesting and maybe, coral reefs could be an entirely new, separate biome that is only found in the middle of the ocean.

This is one thing that I know has been implemented into Minecraft as a mod and it made underwater exploration a lot more interesting. Plus, like in the mod featured in the above video, reef blocks could be used to make some of the rarer dyes that you can't find as easily in the game.

3.) Fish

Speaking of how uninteresting the ocean can be in Minecraft, in addition to coral reefs, why don't we add Fish to be found underwater. To those of you calling foul, yes I do realize that fish are already implemented into the game as an item and can be caught by fishing. But, they can only be found in the game as ITEMS, they are not fully implemented mobs (mobile entities, for those of you who don't play Minecraft). Granted you can dive underwater, if you look around, the ocean is largely lifeless... save for the occasional squid. Plus, fish were initially planned to be implemented as an entirely new mob before but was later put on hold and hasn't been mentioned much from Notch or Jeb since.

Let's see Fish implemented from this....

.......To this.

4.) Volcanoes

This would be another cool thing to see implemented into the full Minecraft experience. Granted it would be difficult, and very destructive if they programmed the volcanoes to erupt every now and then, I'd still be satisfied if it was just a mountain with a pool of lava at the top with lava seeping out the sides. Heck, either way, it would still be awesome to see volcanoes in the game.

5.) Icebergs and Glaciers

Essentially, this is another thing to make the ocean more interesting. Overall, granted it would be some giant masses of snow and ice in the middle of the ocean, it would still be cool to see implemented. Plus, there could be the chance that it can spawn with an ice cave going through it, either above or below the ocean surface.

6.) Ice Caves

Speaking of icebergs, there can be ice caves, not just in glaciers, but you could possibly find them in the middle of preexisting biomes such as Tundra or Mountain biomes. Although they would most likely be rarer that regular caves, it would still be fairly cool to find one.

Something like this, but blockier!

7.) Xbox 360 Controller Support

Sure with this one, many of you may be crying foul. "Just play the damn Xbox 360 version if you want your damn controller". Well, some of us may prefer controllers over keyboards and would like the full Minecraft experience on PC. Heck, many other games support both controllers and keyboards, why can't Minecraft be allowed to do the same? Plus it can have the same controls as the Xbox 360 version anyways since it's been released on Xbox Live.

To be honest, this one, I don't care if it happens or not. I've also grown accustomed to playing Minecraft with a keyboard and mouse, but for those gamers who prefer using a controller instead of mouse/keyboard, this would be a good addition if they wanted to have the full Minecraft experience as well.

8.) Villages Spawning in Multiple Biomes

At the moment, villages only generate in plains and deserts. The reason for this is because villages need a flat surface in order to spawn. Well, if this is the case, they we won't be able to see villages in the mountains or in the trees in jungles. Who wouldn't want to see a village made up of a bunch of tree houses? Plus, in the Minecraft 1.3 update for PC, desert villages will look entirely different in comparison to the ones in plains. If villages could spawn in any biome, each type could have a different appearance.

Well that sums up everything I can think of wanting to see in Minecraft. Thanks for reading and I hope you all have a great rest of the day!
