No more Pay 2 Win only Free 2 Play

Well, I hope you are all getting ready for August, it will be a cold winter for Australia, but a hot summer for U.S UK and many other northern hemisphere countries. But there is GREAT concern for EVERY server owner, even if in no way you are abusing this newly enforced Minecraft Guideline which will be put into place on August 1st.

So you may be wondering what is going on and why I made a blog? Well, Mojang has decided to put a Guideline called EULA ehich they are now enforcing. This makes it you can not offer gameplay changing awards from donating. For example, my friend had a server where if you donated $10 you would get the permissions to fly, this would be violating that Guideline.

This is pretty big, a player 'lelddos'  went so far to take down three major servers to gain Mojang's attention to remind them about EULA. This also means it will be the end of beta etc. Also servers like Sodapoppin's server where you have to play to access it. Thinking about it, it will make Mineplex have to make all of their kits avalible by gems. This will impact a lot of servers and you can be shut down if you are caught not obeying the rule.

Whats okay?
-Limited Time Access Donations(30 Day Ranks etc.)
-To charge sub fees.
-Selling cosmetics
-Using any plugin/mod no matter made by who.

Whats no okay?
-Selling kits.
-Selling comands that are not cosmetic.
-Selling larger plots.
-Selling boosters.
-Limited Access for non-donators.

From here on and out, getting donators will be rough and I can defenitaly guarrtee people on servers like Mineplex will be asking from their money back.

What is your opinion on this topic, is it just too much trouble for servers who already do this and are now having to give refunds since they are not receiving what they payed for? Do you agree with it, thinking all of the values are moral? Please comment as I would like to hear everyones opinion.

Does this really concern you, need any more information, I highly recommend you read this as this will be a huge change for Minecraft servers.

Correction:

This is not something new, it was never ok to charge for kits, plots, commands. It's just that recently the Mojang crew has made the decision to enforce it. These "changes" are technicaly a good thing as they actually add exceptions to something that previously wasn't allowed at all (refering to the selling of cosmetics).

And let's be honest here, any server that depended on the catchpenny of kits and other things, is not a good server at all.

In my opinion, "lelddos" is a hero, who by himself (assumption) decided to enforce the EULA. I praise him.

I did not put down 'lelddos', you may have a point but major servers like Mineplex have been selling kits since their begining. I will edit my post though since I see that I need to reword some sentences.
