Hey guys, i have noticed a lot of skins and things on pmc not getting the feedback they want from their viewers/subscribers.People ask for feedback FOR A REASON.Heres why, and how you can improve what you say when you give feedback.
Why they want feedback
People ask for feedback to know how to improve or fix their creations.It is very helpful to them when they update or create something, that they have feedback to start off from.Simple feedback like "the shading is good" on a skin helps alot for a skinner to become better and know what they are doing right.Or if they did something wrong like make it backwards on accident, friendly feedback will help them know.Feedback is only good because it helps the creator to get better.All the good skinners now probably have had feedback when they first started, and that helped them get to where they are.If you see a really good skin, or a skin that needs a little work, take the time to leave some feedback,The creator will appreciate it alot.
How to give feedback and not sound mean
1.Never insult the person when you give feedback on what they could do better (I hope you guys know that already)
2.Make sure before you post it, you arent coming off as rude or mean in any way.This happens alot and people really dont mean to be rude or mean when they post their feedback, so be careful.
3.First tell them what they did right, then what went wrong, most people wanna hear the good stuff first.
4.Make sure that what you're giving them is what is going to help them, for example "The colors are cool" isnt very helpful, but its a nice compliment :3
5.NEVER give feedback saying what they have to do for example "You have to change the eye color, its too green" First of all thats pointless to say and it isnt feedback, its telling them what to do instead of suggestion what you could do better next time.Another thing NEVER to do is say it sucks, or anything mean.This helps no one, and it makes the person angry.Make sure you dont make fun of their work or be mean about it, and always make sure you include atleast 1 good thing about their creation :3
