Hey everyone! I've had a short break from FoxyFridays but now it's back and better than ever!
To start off I've decided to interview Crescendo! (Some of you may know her as Konan_Chanx! Make sure to check her out she's an amazing artist and she's super nice! <3 I'll leave a link to her profile after the interview, so make sure you check her out! If the letters colors are too bright, go ahead and comment below!
1. What inspired you to make your name "Crescendo?"
Well, I'm a great fan of words and I really happen to like musical terms. I thought Crescendo would be a really nice one to use as it means to 'grudually get louder' and I thought that was kind of cool to be honest x3 I also like how it sounds! As the cen- part in the middle is really soft ;o;!
3. Why did you start making skins for both yourself, and other people?
I started making skins because my sister and I found it hard to find anime skins we like ;o; There are great skins out there of course, but not always for the really obscure characters that me and my sister love so much x3 I saw that other people were making their own too and it really inspired me to start making my own! I also liked how happy it made people, when a created skins for characters that are hard to find ^^!
4. How often do you upload skins?
Ooo tricky question aha xD It really does depend on how busy I am but I do try to make a skin every week! That's why every week I get people to vote for who I make next, so that it keeps me motivated to create skins! Sometimes though I'll do a character of my choice during the week as well, so at times I make 2 ^^
5. Who has been your biggest inspiration so far?
My biggest inspiration is probably Meggles as when I found her Hatsune Miku skin I was super saiyan happy ;o; She is a great skinner and I love how much work she puts into each and every design! :)
6. What are your two favorite colors to skin with?
Red and white! Red hue shifts so beautifully, and I'm a sucker for purple/red tones ^o^ and I also love how white can pair with anything :)! Add them together and they also make pink - which I also happen to be fond of xD
7. What is your favorite Anime?
Currently I have been really into Future Diary (horror anime rocks)! But I will always always always hold a special place in my heart for Bleach as it was the first anime introduced to me by a special friend of mine!
8. If you think you could describe yourself in two words, what would they be?
Internet addict. Only kidding xDDD I do go outside sometimes ;D I'd probably say I'm a bit of a floater- as I love to do my own thing! As well as that I's like to say I am creative, as inspiration usually comes my way! ^o^
9. What do you think is your favorite/most sucessful skin?
My personal fave is Erza (Flame Empress) as I adore wearing that skin and making it was super fun! Her hair was red as well which is the best colour xDDD I think though, that most people like my Kagetane Hiruko skin- and I have to say I also love using that one xD
10. When did you first start both traditional, and digital art?
Digital Art I only started 4 months ago, when my parents bought me a drawing tablet for my 18th! :D I'm not very good on it yet ;~; but I am slowly getting used to it! ^o^ Traditional art however is a hobby I started when I was around 5 or 6 so I have been doing it a long time! I am the kind of person who- when they find something they love- will stick at it! So most of the hobbies I have now are ones that I picked up when I was very young ^^
11. What is your favorite video game character?
Altair from Assasin's Creed xD oh wait no Spyro the Dragon D: gah I can't decide! Lara Croft is pretty awesome too though but whenever I play a game I get really involved in the character's storyline so whichever game I am currently playing is often my fave character! x3
12. What is your favorite color to do digital art with?
So far pink, I just like how really nice it looks! I mean you can get so many different kinds of pinks and I like the warm- pink/red kind of pink!
13. Do you specialize in any sport?
I have been playing badminton for 7 years! :D and I am not a bad netball player either- but I haven't been on any teams :D
14. What is your favorite thing to do on weekends?
On the weekend I love to make skins and draw- sometimes I will spend the whole day drawing! (though I can't count how many weekends I've wasted catching up on TV xD)
15. If you could cosplay any character, who would it be?
Erza from Fairy Tail or Yuno Gasai from Future Diary! I want their hair so badly it hurts (I've already cosplayed Miku!) ^_^
