Why hello there!
I know, i'm writing in boring black. But some people have odd screens, and can't read if i write in pink. Soz<3
You probably think this will be about defending teen skins. But it's not. It's not about putting them down, either.
This blog is about how people should treat each other.
Because, to be honest, people are just throwing poop at each other right now.
The past couple of weeks i've seen the "teen girl" topic completely blow up. I feel like it's creating a big gab between certain groups of PMC, creating groups that are against each other. I think this is really really sad, especially seeing as the reason for this happening, is something as silly as teen skins.
---
I really want all of you to sit back, and think about what you're actually fighting over. I think it's a shame that a big part of the community is being split the way it is now. More and more people are starting to take sides, in a fight that is just completely silly and pointless.
I see where both of the groups are coming from. But what i don't understand, is the problem people seem to be having with teen skins. I don't think people should care so much about the skins other people make. If that's what they enjoy doing, then just leave them to do what they like. As long as it follows the rules of PMC, it's really none of your business what other people create. And who are you, to tell someone what kind of skins to make?
(There are styles of skins i don't like, but i would never, ever start ranting about it. And i certainly would NOT put another person down, for what they like doing. I think that's so disrespectful, and completely out of order.)
I think it's great that some of you give constructive criticism, and i think you should keep doing that. But you also need to respect if someone simply does not want to change their style. You need to respect if they aren't ready to change, or even improve. It might be easy for you, but remember, people are different and not everyone is ready to step out of their comfort zone. And hey, you know what? If they don't want to do that, then that's completely okay as well!
I have no problem with people disliking, even hating teen skins. It's their opinion, and their opinion is just as valid as mine. What i do have a problem with, though, is when people target certain skinners, harassing them, writing mean comments, or even blogs about them, or their skins.
Constructive criticism:
"I think the skin would look a lot better if you made "x" more detailed"
Being a butt:
"Omg can you make something other than teen skins? they're so bad you should make something else"
So,
If you want to give someone constructive criticism, you don't need state that you don't like their skins, or teen skins. If you want to give constructive criticism, do it properly.
And remember, if they don't want your help, then it's their loss. But you need to respect that, and not get butthurt about it.
Why are teen skins so popular?
cuz ugh lyk dey suk so muhh!
Well, surprise surprise, the majority of people on PMC are teenagers! And many people want a skin that represents themselves as what they are. Teens! It's really not that weird if you think about it :)
For example. I love well made monster skins, i think they are awesome. But i wouldn't wear one. I feel more comfortable wearing a teen girl skin, because i'm a girl and it just fits my personality better than a big dinosaur.

Opinions!
You might say that you're entitled to your opinion, and you're right. You are indeed! But i want you to think about something. Are all of the things you're saying constructive, or are they just hurtful?
It's fine to have an opinion. But sometimes you don't need to shove it in someones face.
There is a difference between being opinionated and rude. And you need to learn the difference. Honestly. ______________________________
So how do we solve this?
You might not think it's a big problem. But for me, and many other teen girl skinners it's become a problem that
we no longer can escape.
I think the best way to solve this, is:
To let people do what they want :) Let them make the skins they enjoy making. Not just teen girls, but all skins!
It shouldn't matter to you, what other people make. If it makes them happy, they you should be happy for them. (or at least not put them down for it)
I'm not saying you can't give constructive criticism. As i said before, i think that's exactly what you should do. Don't say rude things, instead, try and help them improve. And if they don't want your help, you need to respect that.
It's become such a big deal on PMC, and it really needs to stop before it gets worse.
SO LETS JUS B FRENS PLZ
Stop the hate<3 And stop being so serious about skins. If someone is happy making a certain style of skins, just leave them<3 There's no need to be so srs and mad >:(
xoxo
Oh my god guys, i misspelled "FRENS" and "FRIEDS" on purpose. Like, really. xD Stop telling me i misspelled it lol.
