So, lots of people geocache (me being one of them). I know some people play minecraft and geocache but you cant do both at once. What if that was possible? What if MC and Mojang added a function where you could geocache while your in the game!!! It would be epic (I think).

THE IDEA

Mojang could make an update so that you could geocache!

What is geocaching?

A: Geocaching is an outdoor recreational activity, in which the participants use a Global Positioning System (GPS) receiver or mobile device and other navigational techniques to hide and seek containers, called "geocaches" or "caches", anywhere in the world.

A typical cache is a small waterproof container containing a logbook where the geocacher enters the date they found it and signs it with their established code name. After signing into the log, the cache must be placed back exactly where the person found it. Larger containers such as plastic storage containers (Tupperware or similar) or ammunition boxes can also contain items for trading, usually toys or trinkets of little financial value, although sometimes they are sentimental. Geocaching shares many aspects with benchmarking, trigpointing, orienteering, treasure-hunting,letterboxing, and waymarking.

Then why should it be in MC?

A: Well you could use the GPS as a home locator, cache finder, or use it like a map! Also, Geocaching is very fun and adventures!!!

If geocaching was in MC, then how would you make/use the GPS?

A: To make it you could just use redstone, cobblestone, glass, and Mojang would have to add wires.. or something along those lines... To use it you could just right click while you in the GPS tool.
