Here is a video of how to get feed the Beast on a Mac without it crashing. You can either watch the video or follow the step below one by one!
Step 1: Go to adf. ly/PvK6s (without spaces between f. and ly), wait 5 seconds and then click on skip ad on the top right corner. Then it will redirect you to a 'mega.co.nz' page where you will want to click on the download button and save the file as ftb.zip on you desktop.
Step 2: Double click the ftb.zip file that should be on your desktop to unzip it. Now you should have a folder called ftb.
Step 3: Open the folder and open the text document called 'Run FPT Code [Open Me]'... Then you want to copy the code found their:
cd ~/Desktop/ftb/
export JAVA_HOME=/System/Library/Frameworks/JavaVM.framework/Versions/1.6/Home
java -jar FTB_Launcher.jar
Step 4: Paste that exact code into terminal and press enter just once. Now wait, and FTB should open up. You should now be able to download any pack you want, and play with it, without it crashing.
