I am posting this today to tell everyone why gold is good and why its bad! Many people think gold is crappy and useless but many people also think gold is good and very useful. Now this is why gold is good!

Reason why gold is good #1: Gold can be used to make a clock to tell when the sun is going to rise or going to go down or how high in the sky it is! gold can also be used to make regular Golden Apples or to make golden blocks! Golden blocks can be used to decorate your home or to make enchanted golden apples once a long time ago they were used to summon herobrine!... but that got removed D:

Now if you read that and said well i am a hardcore pvper i dont have time to get that much gold to make gold apples or i dont care about how i decorate my home or what time it is then this may change your mind and make you think gold is good!

Reason why gold is good #2: Gold armour and gold tools are not good at all the durability is very small so they will wear out fast and there not much better then iron so you may not want them for armour. But sometimes you dont need that good of armour if you like to fight mobs or other players and you dont have much diamonds or something and you dont want to risk it and you have enough gold you can make yourself some gold armour and you probably wont care about it to much because it is crappy armour so you can use it to pvp or kill mobs and not worry about losing all your good stuff and it will make your time on minecraft more fun because if you die with it you wont lose all the stuff you worked hard for! Also if you are a griefer and you dont want to spend a bunch of time finding diamonds gold is much easier and quicker to find so you can find some gold quick so when you are griefing and maybe someone atacks you you'll be able to defend yourself better!

Well by now if you are still saying gold still sucks then i cant help you anymore those are 2 really good reasons to like gold and i cant think of any more right now so lets go see why gold is bad!

Reason why gold is bad #1: This is probably the first reason you think of why gold is bad because the durability sucks meaning it runs out really fast! When you make a gold pick or some kind of gold tool you will see it runs out really fast and its really a waste of gold the armour lasts a bit longer but i dont think by too much! So you probably dont want to waste your gold on armour and tools

Now that was a simple reason why gold is bad and to me the next one is too because its about gold armour and tools again!

Reason why gold is bad #2: As you know gold armour wears out fast but you may think that its a lot better then iron and almost as good as diamond well if you do you're wrong! Gold armour is only half of one of the armour symbols better then iron im pretty sure thats only 8 of the armour symbols so gold armour and tools isnt too great plus the first reason i stated before makes it look really sucky!
Okay now that we have gone over why its bad for armour and tools lets see other reasons why gold is bad!

Reason why gold is bad #3: Gold is kind of hard to find if you cant find a cave to me gold is hard to find but maybe its just me i dont know what level gold is at (and by level i mean when you hit f3 and you look at y) and i dont look for it to much but i still find it a bit hard to find well harder then iron! So gold is harder to find then iron and its not that much better another reason why gold is bad!!!
Theres one more small reason why gold is bad and it is the last reason so if this still hasnt made up your mind or you just want to keep reading please do!

Reason why gold is bad #4: Gold can be used to craft some thing but not many gold can be used to make all the gold armour and tools but diamonds iron and leather can be used for that too the only other things gold can be used to make is golden apples (2 kinds) gold blocks and a clock not to good is it!
