Many people have been wondering - is herobrine real or not? Let's start with the legends of how herobrine came to be.

~Herobrine is notch's dead brother
Is herobrine notches dead brother? Indeed, the first herobrine mod discribed herobrine to be notches dead brother, coming back from the grave to haunt players. Now the fact that in alot of updates it says "-removed herobrine". So, you might suspect that herobrine was in the first few Minecraft updates. However, the first major herobrine picture was after the second update that said "-removed herobrine", the first being confusing to the players. When a blogger posted who herobrine really was, Most didn't belive. After the second update though, This picture came out, spiking herobrine activity.

Then came the herobrine mod.
It spiked the Herobrine pictures, but still people said that herobrine was in there game without the mod. Some might say that this is because notch can never truly remove the herobrine code from the game; yet looking at all the files, my group of friends and I have descovered no code that would spawn herobrine. (yes, we are that obsessed with herobrine)

How about we get a herobrine skin? It's easy to add in a realistic nametag "herobrine" above you. It's also easy to add herobrine to the picture completely, and with the majic pen tool, you can add fog effects, brightness, contrast, blurriness to the picture. This can make it highly realistic, and with a detailed blog, belivible.
Now let's use a mod.
There are plenty of herobrine mod's out there to choose from. This can add herobrine to you're game without photo shop. With lot's of pictures and fake proof, this can also be belivible, like this picture

Moving on.
Notch never tweeted about herobrine when he first "apeared", making it highly unlikly that herobrine would have been in the game. Yet, Notch did tweet about the skyworlds, but that was never implated. Same thing with crying obsidian and gears. So can we really trust this fact? Maby not, but the fact that there is no coding for herobrine, and they created a mod for herobrine. Why would they create a mod for herobrine if he already was in the game?
