How many servers are there in minecraft multiplayer?

There are alot of servers out there these days and it is hard to pick one. The main ones are HiveMC, Mineplex and Hypixel. But How many servers are there in total?

Here are some statistics:

111,619 servers on http://www.planetminecraft.com
11,275 servers on http://www.minecraftforum.net/
200,000 servers on http://minecraft-server-list.com/
35,089 servers on http://minecraftservers.org/
And counting private servers that are not on websites like these I would say another 100,000 approx

So that totals out to be about 250,000 - 300,000 servers on minecraft in total. (Only a guess)

but what if there are servers wich are posted , let's say for example on minecraft forum and planetminecraft that would lower the number right?

Yes, That is why I said 200,000 - 300,000 I counted the private servers and the ones not on any websites as 100,000
