Hello!

This is my tutorial for the Minetorials contest about how not to kill a creeper!!!

Not only can I tell how not to kill a creeper, I can tell you in THREE very simple steps!!!!!

But first some background:

Creepers are terrible monsters that sneak up behind you and blow up everything, really nast things they are. They've been know to destroy grand buildings, pixel art, and even YOU.

So it's really important that you know how not to kill them.



Steps:

1)DON'T make any armor, swords, or pickaxes. These will only help you defend yourself in case you're attacked. Especially don't make any Diamond armour or swords because these are the best things you can have if you ever are unfortunate enough to see (or don't see) a creeper. If you don't see the creeper coming, silently as they are, then Diamond armour will defend you when they blow up. DONT wear diamond armour, or any other type of armour either. You also must not know how to kill a creeper with a diamond sword or any other sword in the event that you see them. So DONT do this: hit the creeper once, then back away, in case of the chance that it blows up after one hit. It will most likely just swell up and not blow up, but there's always the chance that it will. So, don't be cautious and try to make it blow up on you. After the first hit, if you're stupid enough to still be alive, DONTcome back to the creeper and hit a few times in quick succession, because this will most likely kill the creeper. DONT kill the creeper!!!! If you're such a dunce that the creeper manages to die without blowing up, then it will probably drop some gunpowder/ sulfer. Gunpowder can be used to make TNT, a very usefull thing to have.

2) DON'T make your house out of a blast resistant substance such as obsidian, iron, or bedrock. This will allow the creeper to blow up your house easily. So Please make your house out of wood and sand if you wish not to kill a creeper. Another benefit of this is that wood looks really good for houses and is a great, easily obtainable building material

3) DONT bring torches with you when you go mining. If you bring torches with you, it becomes less likely that you will be killed down there. It also becomes less likely that the creeper will kill you. So please, dont bring torches down mining, because then you wont see or kill any creepers.



And that's how not to kill a creeper!!
