Introduction
Hi! I'm Frosty, and in this blog I will tell you (in my own opinion) how to be a PMC user.
Wait, What?
OK, this is one of those inspirational and motivational (Muppetational) blogs that may help a PMC user in achieving there goals in being a loyal and (K)noble user of the internet.
Lets start:
1. Have fun and enjoy
- First of all, what is the main purpose of joining Planet Minecraft, one of themis to have fun and enjoy posting your work. Don't be such a grump or a loner, havefreedom to express yourself(in a nice way, of course). Don't compare yourself fromother people enjoying, show them that your enjoying.
2. Respect opinions,criticism, and suggestions
- Commenting, a way to express yourself. Searching through works of PMC users, youmay find something like "Wow, it looks so cute :3" or "Ugh, youover shadedit |:-|".I know that you have a feeling inside saying "Agreed" or " OH HEILLL NOO>:-(", butyou should not be doing this. Respect them if they do/don't like a submission, but
are some execptions, or at least a excuses of some sort. #Respect
3. Don't think popularity is really important
- My first reaction when I joined PMC was "I so going to be popular with my skinsand stuff" but this reaction has changed over time. I am just level 3(at least fornow) against users who are level 79! I have no chance. Then I realize "If there was a timethat I was popular, then what? I have nothing to do, and when I don't doanything,
then my subscibers will spam my message box, and I will have to keep posting. Somuch hard work :-(". I am not saying you will stop working hard to becomepopular, I'mjust saying that don't take popularity and levels too "seriously".
4. Be nice and helpful
- Have you ever seen a really great skin and say "Wow, this skin is so awesome. ShouldI diamond it.... Nah! (I'm too laaaazy)". Well you must be a lazy slope. You seea cool skin and ignore it :P. If you think a skin deserves a diamond then give it one.Don't just diamond a post for nothing. Giving a diamond will really help the user, because it motivates him/her to make more posts andenhancehis/her creativity andsocial skills. You should also accept skin requestsoften. If you already post it,You can call it a help-to-the-community skin :-).
5. Get creative
- Creativity, something you will need to survive PMC. But, what can you do to become creative. Some ways that I thought of are:
6. Find ways to improve oneself
- Don't become a finalist in contests (I know that feeling)? Why not try to find ways to improve yourself. See skinning and building guides or consult an expert for inspiration.Determine,PracticeandBelieve.
7. Support PMC
- If you see a stolen or reposted(or both) skin, what is your fist reaction? One might think that this is a piece of trash waiting to be thrown into a garbage can, and down the burning incinerator. Well, lucky for you, I am having the same thought. Report these skins to delete once and for all (BWAHAHAHAHAHA) Anyway this will really help in cleaning PMC.
Thanks for reading and viewing! :-)
