Before we start, you must understand that not everyone is cut out for a position, you may think it's all fun and games but it's not! this is hard work, it can be very frustrating, depressing, and stressful at times. If you get upset over little things, or you get stressed out easy, staff positions are not for you.
The do nots
Do not ask for a staff position as soon as you join a server! wait at least a month or two, if the server needs an extra hand, apply! if it's full, don't bother, they don't need you!
Do not use be disrespectful to staff members of the server, EVER.
Do not ask if any staff positions are open, you will want to wait until you see that the staff are either inactive or they just need someone.
Do not abuse your powers.
Do not use your position as a way to gain free perks
Do not favor people in any situation, this could cause a lot of trouble for both of you.
Do not feel that because you're a staff member that you're better then everyone else, because you're not!
What you should do
Always use correct grammar and spelling, admins always look at the people with better grammar then the ones going "may i pls be mod bcz i want to help with deh servr".
You should treat everyone with respect, respect is a very importaint thing, this does not bean you have to be nice, just respectful.
You should get fully understand the rules and make sure they're kept.
How to apply for a position
Name: (Post your REAL name and age, if you're not allowed to do this then you shouldn't even be applying!)

Most active times of the day:
How many hours you'll play a day:
Add in a little bit about yourself, make the peopl reading your application feel like they know you.

I remember when I was 14, I thought it was fun to look for a server to be a staff member on, I applied for a server called 'The Divided', I bcame a moderator but I did not know what I was doing. I did it out of fun, not to help the community. Sadly, this is what 85% of minecraft players do. I've learned over time that you should never seek a position, but if you like your current server and it needs help, then apply. (Only reason you should ever apply)
