I'm back with another one of my FAMOUS tutorials! Today I will be teaching you..................................How to become a mod on a server you LOVE!



First step: Play on the server for ages!


Yeah sure. Unless you are in a relationship with the person who made the server, you'll probably never become mod if you play for let's say, a day.


If your on for a huge amount of time people will get to know you and wil understand that you are a good person. That is, if you are a good person. But let's not skip steps hey. Look at me for instance, I've been playing on my favourite server for about two months and I haven't got mod. For all I know I might not even GET mod! You'll have to play for much more longer than about two months though to gain the owners trust.


Second step: Be responsible


Remember, if your going to be a mod you'll have to do responsible things like: Calming down players when there in a fight, Keeping contact with the owner, Listening to the owner and Building thigs that you are instructed to build. (Unless it was someone or something that's completely out of league)


Sure you can crack a joke sometimes, but most times, don't be innapropriate and start yelling out swear words to a player. Just talk calmly.


Third step: Nicely now, Nicely


Never insult another player. If they do something to you, DO NOT scream and curse at them, just talk to them about it kindly and why they did it and stuff. Always respect the staff otherwise you will start to get powerful enemies and trust me, you don't want them. I would know through personal experience that staff that are trying to kill you isn't very fun. AT ALL.


Fourth step: Get to know players


You need to understand what some players are like. Some are the type that go around raiding everyone. Some like to hide their bases underground to prevent griefers. Some like to venture through the jungles. If you know what players like, you'll understand them more and you'll say the right things. Like for example say if you say to a massive pvp-er, "Let's pretend the pigs are pink, fluffy unicorns!" The pvp-er will probably run away. But if you say something like, "Look, there's a base! Raid-time!" They'll start to like you.
