first, you download the software here. then you launch that software and click options and choose JAR downloader. then you select the gamemode you want to play in and press add download. then we go back to the log in screen, go to the place under the password and click the down arrow and select the game version you want to play in and click log in and voila! you are playing in the version you selected!
