Hey all! Most servers run fine with their staff and such, but there's always one staff that stands out. I'm going to show you how to deal with them.
Okay, these staff can be tricky to deal with. First what you do, is install and NoTnT Plugin. This will make it where TnT won't destroy blocks. Then you talk to them, ask them to stop and to focus on the server. Be as nice as possible, Iv'e seen good friends go bad. If they keep using TnT, then start getting on to them, but not too much! If you go in with a blow, they won't be to kind. If they keep doing it after that, demote them for 3 days. If they say their sorry and won't do it again. keep them demoted for 3 days. When the 3 days are up, rank him back. BUT! Keep a close eye on him, watch what he does, if he starts TnTing again, demote him for 7 days. If he starts griefing spawn. demote him for perm.
What these kind of staff do, is ask questions. And won't stop asking questions. These staff have a knack for being annoying and having everyone hate him. How to deal with them, is to give them a link to the wiki, so they know how to make stuff. tell them to stop asking so many questions when they can google it. And Tell them to do /plugins, and go to bukkit and get used to the plugins.
These staff are the easiest to deal with, if they are abusive. Demote them. That's it. You can't have a staff who is abusive.
