Here is a STEP-BY-STEP guide to downloading maps, demonstrated with my TreeHouse map
First, if you don't have it already, you need WinRAR or 7zip. I use WinRAR in this tutorial.

Go to the website above ( www.rarlab.com/download.html )
Download the appropiate FREE version for your computer (I do not suggest buying it, you don't need to)
Download the world save somewhere you can find it
Double click the file to open it
You should see the above (or if using 7zip, something like it)
Drag the file into your saves file in .minecraft. Your officially done!
