Hello! Today I'll be guiding you on how to create a unique and catchy username people will remember!
Tip 1~~ Don't use numbers in your username! If your username is something like "PuppyMaster825374," no one will remember it. You want it to be simple and memorable. If you desperately want numbers in your name, stay away from the following things: Your birth year, the year you got Minecraft, age, numbers in sequential order (Ie, 123, 789) or repeated numbers. If you have 5+ numbers in your name, it's too much!
Tip 2~~ Try to avoid 'Name Clans'; groups of people that all have roughly the same name. One example of a name clan would be "CrazyTiger, CrazyCougar, CrazyLion, etc." These 'Name Clans' usually make you seem unfriendly, and that you only hang out with one group of people (aka, the other people in the clan.) It also makes you seem unoriginal, and you blend in with the other members. It's hard to just remember one person when everyone has the same name. Although its not bad to be in a name clan, some people find them annoying.
Tip 3~~ If you want your name to really stick with people, try a subtle reference. For example, I have a friend who is a fan of Pokemon and has a Pokemon name in her IGN. People tend to remember her name because it has a widely known reference in it. If you are an Undertale fan, try something like "UnderFox" Under, standing for Undertale, and Fox for Toby Fox.
Tip 4~~ Make it something personal about you! My nickname in real life is Fish, so whenever someone asked in game why my name was related to fish, that would be my answer! It's unique and quirky, exactly how I am. If you make it something about you, people are more likely to remember your name and want to be friends. Always be confident in your name, and yourself!
