In this tutorial, I will be showing you how to get many views, downloads, and diamonds in Planet Minecraft.
P.S. (in case i forget to mention in one section or another, being famous helps in EVERYTHING)

P.S.S (I know that I often mention that in some sections you need to be famous to get a lot of exp, and its really true tbh, so please don't rant about that in the chat)

Part 0: When to upload
If you upload a project when nobody is on, by the time people get on, it'll already be bumped to the next search page, and a lot less people will view it, hence less xp. I typically get my most xp around 12 - 1 pm PST. I suggest to upload your project around that time in order to get the most xp. If you have another time that works well too, let me know in the comments :D

Part 1: Projects
The first type of projects are Redstone Projects. To be honest, no redstone project will get you a lot of xp unless you are famous on youtube and post it there. Most people don't go to the projects section looking for a redstone contraption showcase. sorry :P

The second type are the survival/adventure mode minigames. First of all, it really helps being famous on youtube and posting it there, but its not as needed. If you make a fun game, and you see you are not getting many views/downloads/diamonds, then here is something you need to work on. ART. People who look for projects are always looking for one with a picture of amazing artwork, Maybe a huge structure that's well-built. So just remember, no matter how fun the game is, if you don't have any good art inside of it, or you are famous, it isn't gonna get that many views.

Part 2: Texture Packs
Well, let's start by talking about the first type of texture packs, simplistic. Simplistic texture packs are the easiest to make, and to be honest, all of them look similar. What you really need in a simplistic pack is, the terrain.png. If you like it a lot, make first the items and armor, then the xp bar and health bar and that, then the logo, and finally the mob files. With simplistic texture packs, it's all about the name. If you name it, "Smooth Texture Pack", you won't get as many views as if you name it "Ultra Smooth", or "Simple Craft" or something creative along those lines. Your first picture should be the terrain.png always. Smooth Textures that follow theseguidelines can easily get you between 500 to 1000 views. Remember to be polite to commenters. Even if it is your first texture pack, don't tell it in the description. People want to see a catchy description, not exactly an ad, but a good example would be, "It's Simply... Smooth... Craft" It's catchy, short, and makes it sound like you are famous. Anyways, texture packs are a great way for minecrafters to get plenty of xp on Planet Minecraft.

The second type of texture packs are original. These ones have to be pleasant to the eye when you look at it, and it really helps if you have a theme to it, and make sure to include it in the title. For these texture packs, the best picture you can put is a picture of a great threedimensional piece of art in your texture pack. This gives people a great first impression, they think you are famous. If you followed all of this, all that really remains is the actual quality of the texture pack. If people really like how it looks, then you will get more downloads, or vice versa. If you don't make a good name for this, or it simply doesn't look good, sorry, but it just won't give you that much xp.

The third type of texture pack is high definition. If you spend a lot of time working hard on a well-made, original, eye-pleasing, high definition texture pack, you willget a lot of views and download, and you willget a lot of exp. However, you might need to make a few simple steps. First of all, make or download a huge project of like a city or something detailed or such, and take a few good-looking snapshots of it with your texture pack. (No this is not against the rules).
Make sure you include "HD" or "64 p" or something in its name so people know it is high definition. Just a reminder, this will take you a ton of time and effort, and is not for lazy people.

Part 3:Skins

If you only want xp, don't make skins. Most people just make skins because they want it for themselves, or for their friends. Skins that get lots of views/diamonds/downloads are extremely well made and are of famous people, people famous in movies, or famous in video games. But no matter what, to get good xp out of skins, you need to be famous on youtube, or get someone famous on youtube to wear it. So yeah, if you just have a great idea for a skin, go ahead and make it, but remember its just for fun, don't expect many views/downloads/diamonds. Just an added note, there is no famous smooth skin.

Part 4: Servers

Let me be honest with you. I do not know as much about servers as about all the above, so feel free to correct me in the comments. Anyways, there are sever types of servers.

1: Redstone. Theses servers will not help you in exp at all unless you are famous on youtube

2: Skyblock/AdventureMap. These servers will actually give you quite good exp if you make a great image for it, that draws people in. Also, because people mainly go to servers that have many people in them, i highly suggest not having any or that much lag. Lag will greatly decrease your odds of getting lots of exp.

3: Pvp Adventure. this is closely related to the project adventure map section, all you have to do is make a great adventure map good for pvp with chests, with little lag. Also, I will remind you, you MUST have a great image, a grand name, and AMAZING artwork. Many picture of the server will also help. If you get someone to showcase it on youtube, then it will also help your exp a lot.

4: Survival. This last type is another type that can get you decent exp, never as much as a texture pack, but still decent exp. What you need is, the server is on 24/7, NO lag, never more than 1/5th of the people being op unless you have less than 4 people on the server, and pvp raid really helps the exp, because everyone loves it. You should have some type of anti-grief there. Also, something you might not have thought about, even though people make their own stuff, you NEED an original, fancy, spawn. Without it, you will get nobody who goes online, hence no exp. Last but not least, be polite. :)

Part 5: Blogs

In my opinion, blogs are not great for a lot of exp, but if you post many of them it is possible for them to get you to level 10, or get you the last bit of exp you need.

1: Normal. Normal blogs don't really have a lot of effort in them, and can just be random things you want to say, as you would do in any forum. These include daily blogs, minecraft related help blogs, and many others. These blogs will get you within 2-20 views each, which, when you make 20 blogs a day, could level you up and give you that little boost that you need. These blogs are great to pass time, or get answers and friends.

2: Lots of Effort. These blogs are blogs that have a lot of content and are what people want to read, and want to know. For example, look at this blog. This blog explains to you in detail how much whatever you do will get you. It explains to you the purpose of each individual thing you can do on this site. Blogs like this usually get 5+ diamonds, some comments (or many comments), and 100+ views, some favorites, and all in all about what you would get for a sucky texture pack. The only difference is that you get more diamonds and favorites. So why make a blog that has a lot of effort? Some people like writing. Some people like ranting. Some people want feedback. Some people want to get emotions out. Put in the comment section why you think i made this blog ^^

3: Famous. Yes, being famous helps in blogs too. What blogs get the most views, most diamonds, most everything? Someone like Dico saying, "New map come out, check it here: www.planetminecraft.com/projects/ishouldhavejustgivenyouthelinktotheprojectinthefirstplace/" These blogs get a shizzton of views and diamonds and favorites and comments and exp in general. All they have to do is make a video about it, put the url in the description, and pop, they just got from level 60 to 70. its true.

Are views the only thing that gives blogers xp? Do you get xp from diamonds/favorites?

SOME advice is useful, but most of it is just 'Be famous or get someone famous to use it'

.... It is very unlikely anyone, or most people, could do that.

EDIT: Not to offend you. Just stating my opinion..
